A tip for left over avo is to put it in a bowl of water (the water should cover the avo). Yes, you heard right lol! The water actually preserves it. It doesn't make it soggy or taste any different. It'll be as fresh as when you put it in.

As you were cleaning the fridge I thought of a tip my mom taught me: you know when you are cleaning that rubber part that has grooves, if you take a knife and cover it ngefayidukhwe on the sharp end then run the knife through the groove it reaches that part engafinyeleleki ngomnwe and it doesn't stretch the rubber but possibly you know that as well.
