The other 2 weeks, we will be staying at either the Waterfront Inn in downtown Lake Sumter (they are dog friendly) and one week at the Brownwood Hotel and spa (also dog friendly). I can not wait!! We have been talking about the village so much lately. Did you guys stay in St Catherine neighborhood for your lifestyle visit? I think that is where we are staying.

@@angelamasson-fashionover50 No worries on Joey's name 😂 We didn't stay in St. Catherine, we were in another neighborhood that was just outside of the Brownwood Tower. I can't remember the name! It was very nice, but I don't think there is a place in the Villages that isn't nice! We keep looking at real estate there and see so many homes we want to buy now! It sounds like you are going to have a fabulous visit. We saw the Brownwood Hotel & Spa -- I'm sure it will be awesome! So, they let you do more than one lifestyle visit? We weren't sure we could do it again. If so, we will definitely make plans to go again, before we move there!!

I know what you mean about the cost of houses - we had no intention of buying down there, because we didn't think we could afford it, but being down there and seeing what kind of life you can have after retirement made us decide to work a little longer so we can do it! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed watching, especially Joey 😍 I hope you can get down there some day!! Keep buying those lottery tickets!!

@@BestLifeLee We started looking in our early 50’s , but I am crowding 70 now and the wife is crowding 68. We downsized to a nice condo a couple years back and both agree that to get down there it’s going to have to be enough money to do it right!! As I said one lottery hit!! Lol! 😃 Thanks for the best wishes on the lottery and who knows maybe we will see you down there someday. P.S. Had a real good childhood friend move to West Springfield Mass. back years ago. We have been up there a few times in the past, but not lately. He moved to Arizona to be with his boys.

@@BestLifeLee Social Security is welfare. They did not earn the money they are collecting. When they were taxed the money went out to pay others. Now others are working to pay their benefit. That is how welfare programs work.

Hmmmm.....me thinks I have a goader over here 😊 Actually, I have been paying into Social Security for 43-years. When I get ready to come off of the working wheel, I'll feel very good about letting the up and coming younger people pay into the pool that keeps SS going. It's too bad that the government sees fit to spend that money elsewhere. If they'd only followed Ben Franklin's idea of building that money, the county would easily be able to take care of it's elderly and the downtrodden, but alas, it's all about filling other holes caused by corrupt policies and greed. I'm still working and I'm a couple of years younger than you, so I'm not retired yet, but you should enjoy your retirement, that is if you really are who you say you are. By the way, what country did you come from, before you came to America? Where is your return on your investment in your country? Curious minds want to know!

Hi Molly! No, we didn't get to meet Jerry & Linda. I would have definitely put them in the video!! I did reach out to them, but Linda was travelling (or tried to travel, if you've seen their recent video) and Jerry said they had a very busy week! We looked for sightings of them though! It was funny. We'd be at the squares or driving on the golf cart and every once in a while we'd tease each other and say, "is that Jerry?" 🤣😂 Donut King was a must!!
