Hi Alena, sorry to hear about your negative swimming experience. I was a late swimmer too. Had felt this sense of shame because everyone else could swim. So I made it a goal to learn. I started with breathing and blowing out bubbles in the water. Then I practiced floating and hanging on to the side of the pool trying to stay afloat. Be sure to practice in shallow water so you can stand up if needed. Learning to Swim is a process and it takes patience. The calmer you are the easier it becomes. I hope you keep trying and never give up. It is rewarding when you do finally accomplish your goal. Your videos are great and your sincerity is admirable. It is in your struggles and hardship and life challenges that I can relate and find commonality. May you never lose that.

I think thew sad truth is that you need more uploads to not lose subs, like at least once a week. On the swimming. it's a skill you really need to learn, this means take lessons! We humans are not like many other animals who can do it from birth, by instinct. In my country we have a lot of water, so 99% of the kids learn to swim at a young age. But sometimes a migrant kid tragically drowns, because they never learned it where they come from and they want to swim with their friends here. If professional lessons are not an option in your current situation, I really hope you have a friend who can swim and who you can trust 100% and then go together without any other people (no onlookers) to a safe body of water and practice together. The first step is to learn how to float and be one with the water. The water will carry you. Once it feels less alien and more comfortable, you can start with the actually swimming. Your friend can demonstrate and support you. like really physically, hold your body You should start in water that is about 1 meter deep.

@@davidwebb4904 A baby might, perhaps some subconscious memory left over from pre-birth, but an infant would drown, as would a child or an adult who hasn't learn to swim as a child or an adult. It's not natural for humans to swim. Swimming is an extremely difficult skill to learn. It's also very difficult to float without sinking. I gave up 50 years ago after 10 years of lessons.

I think people are busy and distracted with lots of other content so if you don't post often enough, people who like me enjoy your videos lose track of you. Your humour is funny and very dry. Maybe just walking around during your daily activities and commenting on odd things that you see or think are funny. You tell us so little about yourself and what you’re doing and where you live. That would be interesting, too. Fall is around the corner and I bet the countryside and parks will look lovely. Even experienced swimmers sometimes accidentally swallow some water. It’s more common to get water up the nose, which is uncomfortable. Some people wear a device, a nose clip, to prevent water from going up the nose. I enjoy your videos! The place where you guys are camping is beautiful and looks peaceful. (Avoid eating unripe apples, however, as they can cause diarrhea.) As for people watching your videos, focus on what YOU are passionate about. Of course you’re still young and trying to determine who you are and your place in this world-which is common. It takes time but you’ll get there. If you like birds and enjoy bird watching, know that there are bird watching groups all over the world. You can even start one if you wish. There are even group tours that feature traveling and bird watching (also called birding) even in Eastern Europe. In North and South America we have the Audubon Society, which has nearly 2 million members and over 600 chapters. The main purpose of this organization is to protect birds and their habitats. Some members gather information about birds such as what species live in their area, how many, and if they migrate. They are called “citizen scientists.” There are over 11 thousand species of birds worldwide, some with unique and amazing abilities. For instance, some birds know how to migrate by using a “sun compass” to tell direction, which works in conjunction with their internal clock. A cuckoo bird can dart into an unattended nest of another type of bird, snatch an egg, lay a close copy and quickly fly away. After hatching, some cuckoo chicks instinctively shove their foster siblings and remaining eggs out of the nest, so as to have all the food to themselves.

I learnt so-called "swimming" at age six but that doesn't really count because I was using a buoy which kept my upper body out of the water. I knew all the different strokes and could pedal fast. 😂 I really learnt swimming when it had become a college graduation requirement. That's something I had to achieve or else I have: 『前功盡癈。』"All previous [years of college studying and working] efforts, utterly wasted." I didn't use a nose clip when learning to swim. I leaned back slowly as if relaxing to lie upon a soft bed while keeping my nose and mouth up in the air above water. Once I floated, I could just pedal around. The dolphins and whales have their nostrils up high on top so I can do the same thing but I need to be careful about getting clearance to avoid hitting anything as I swim backwards. It's my no-see-um dolphin style. 😂

Good to hear from you, thanks! A good place to try getting used to being in the water is in salt water as it is at least pleasant tasting. A bay or protected cove where there are no powerful waves to scare you, and fairly gently sloping from ankle deep to a bit past waist deep and you can try to swim...no danger of sinking when you can just stand up 🙂

Мне нравится видеть вас и слышать о ваших будущих проектах, таких как немецкий город, я понятия не имею, как он выглядит! Не могу дождаться следующего видео, продолжайте оставаться собой!
