i've read where the crawdads sing three times now and i'm still not sick of it! it's literally the best book i've everrrrr read. the movie was good but it left out a few things that i think the book did really well, so you should definitely read it!!!

I read where the crawdads sing in 2019 and it’s one of my favourite books! It’s one of those books that has just stuck with me and I often think about it! I saw the movie last week and it was PERFECT! Such a great adaptation 🤩👏 highly recommend reading it even after seeing the movie!!!

Be prepared for If He Had Been With Me. I read it last month I think and I was highly disappointed. Literally a whole bunch of nothing happens until like 30 pages of the book is left. And for me, personally, the ending was also a let down. I gave it a 6/10 (3 🌟). Maybe you'll still like it, what happened towards the end still made me tear up.

I personally loved the crawdads book but I know it’s a hit or miss. Just descriptive and slow burn with plot line but if you can get past that the writing in my opinion was phenomenal
