Ooooh he does? That’s not good. I know of someone who went to bed after a night of drinking and hitting his head. He never woke up. He needs to be careful.
Dom keeps looking at David like you would look at your mom for confirmation and approval during your Dr.'s visit when they keep throwing out new info lol
molly it is actually interesting to see an actual brain scan. I have an abnormal brain wave witch can be seen on the scan when compared to another persons scan. Yet the abnormality has no impact on my intelligence but affects headaches
My old highschool sports nurse had one of the balance boards and I had to do that plus a little test every year before golf and volleyball season started to see if we had concussions.
@Jordan Grimley I just presumed you would have several removed at once. I once had an abscess on a molar as a kid and they feared that it would spread to the other four. They removed all four within one sitting.
Crystal Dowding or David: “Jason thought he was going on a stress free vacation but wait till he sees this!” *pulls out paintball gun , flame thrower, nipple clippers, knives, and Trish*
@@chappiedatass1361 the right hemisphere also controls motor function. And the irregularities in his gait and more swing on one side is less about which side it is on but more about the motor functions in which the right side of the brain controls. For example decreased arm swimg is the most frequent motor dysfunction reported by Parkinson's patients.
@@chappiedatass1361 I agree that this guy is definitely a con artist but the right cerebellum does control motor functions on the right side of the body. The frontal lobe would be part of your cerebrum.
iah_Ain't nofruityfkr its not a con if he’s helping people with brain damage recover or ease the pain while they recovering. He’s like rehabilitating and everyone thinking he heals and shit
Dude just uses some big words to seem important... he’s the “youngest doctor in the area” because he doesn’t have a MD or OD. He is just a glorified chiropractor
bobong nilalang it’s not really hate...it’s true. it’s important to know who is qualified for these things and who isn’t. when chiropractors try to convince people unaware of the medical industry that they are actual MDs that’s a problem
Really not comfortable with his usage of the word doctor. I appreciate people who have doctorates, but for him he’s cutting it fine between medical doctor and doctor of chiropractic studies. So for him to say he’s the youngest doctor in the area is really sketch.
in his terms, as a functional neurologist, maybe he is the youngest. getting a doctorate still takes time and effort. just because he doesn’t have an MD doesn’t mean he’s “not a doctor”. but yes, his use of “im a doctor” blah blah blah is fairly odd and annoying
@@britann9539 That's insane... my chiropractor actually gave me an x-ray and diagnosed me. He actually explained to me that just glancing at people is basically useless (when talking about school scoliosis screenings by a PE teacher).
Jasline Fernandez I’m aware of what a nucleus is, but you’re not going to narrow down problematic nuclei by making people push lights quickly... he was just throwing words to try and sound intelligent. He is a fancy chiropractor, not a neurologist.
@Izzy thank you! people are ignorant and think that just because they don't understand something that automatically makes it fake. they act like a new field of study can't be introduced..... HOW WOULD WE GET ANYWHERE AS A SOCIETY IF WE WEREN'T LOOKING INTO NEW WAYS OF DOING THINGS. sorry if this isnt worded well im like in the middle of work and very distracted lmao
@Izzy Why would someone test for alterations in specific nuclei (in people under 30, just to make it even more ridiculous) in this convoluted way instead of just doing a normal MRI scan? This is clearly a smoke and mirrors performance carefully designed to attract LA idiots with tons of money who think all machines are evil. Masking horseshit with legitimate (albeit extremely vague) explanations is actually a con artist's bread and butter
@Jack Huntley No it doesn't lol cannabis and alcohol both do not kill brain cells. Hitting your head or lack of oxygen causes death of brain cells. The evidence for cannabis killing brain cells was a study on chimps in the 70s when they out a oxygen mask on them with only cannabis smoke so they weren't getting any oxygen. This myth has been disproven for a long time.
Brooke Allison for everyone saying cannabis doesn’t kill brain cells needs to start doing their research....... there are countless RECENT studies which provide evidence that cannabis disrupts cognitive brain function, encourages psychosis, etc. .... not saying never smoke weed, but do it in moderation😌
@@sadiealarcon7610 chiropractors are NOT doctors. they do NOT go to medical school, residency, fellowship, etc like doctors do. they do NOT hold medical degrees (MD or DO). chiropractic school is typically four years long.
Dani chiropractors are still doctors. He never said he was a medical doctor. Chiropractors have to obtain a doctorate of chiropractic degree. So he has every right to use the Dr. title. Also sounded like he did like a 3 year residency. Which is about the same amount of time a primary care physician has to do. PhD’s, DO’s, DPT, pharmacists and chiropractors all can call themselves doctors. Because they all got doctorates in their respective fields...don’t take that away from him just because he cannot prescribe medication. He went through 4 years of college then 4 year of chiropractic school and then 3 years of specialty training..
Liv Koz Hello, Medical doctors are NOT the only type of doctors. That’s why the M in your MD degree is there. To specify that you’re a MEDICAL doctor .. dude never claimed to be an MD, he just claimed to be a doctor. - a 28 year old biomedical engineering PhD. Took me 7 years and I’ll be damned if people call me anything other than DOCTOR. Lol. I deserve it just as much as any MD.
Brandon Yano uhmmm, u do realize every dna cell in the body is made up of nuclei. The reason ppl are individuals is bc of nuclei..... so if someone has a neurological problem, the source is from a abnormal DNA sequence..... so him saying that he needs to find nuclei to target is a very normal thing to do.....
My heart kinda dropped for Jason at the end though. If you ever get ill or remotely close to anything bad our hearts would break. Please take care of your health Jason. 💙
It killed me that they kept interrupting the Dr. I love them but it drives me crazy! I wanted to hear him. I feel like Dom really was being respectful and trying to listen but they kept trying to make jokes after every sentence! Sorry.lol venting to you I guess😂😂
makeUPsessed I agree , I felt they were Just trying to crack a joke for the views making Dom look bad even though he was just doing what the doctor said
@@Jorge-cc6yx but it's their job isn't it? Making jokes and trying to be funny for their vlogs?they didn't go there to actually scan their brains, they went there for content and I'm sure at this point everyone knows what kind of a person dom really is and that they're just joking :)
Wot. He's a neurologist. How did you absorb this from the video. Chiropractors don't assess how your brain is working based on physical indications lol
@@MsPotatobag he's not. He's a chiropractor. Search it the place up. They call it "Functional Chiropractic Neurology, Nutrition and Rehabilitation". You are not a doctor if you're a chiropractor and the field is very unregulated because there's no real scientific evidence that it works. But it can be used as supplementary therapy to whatever you're already doing with actual medicine. Please don't believe he's telling you anything important about your neurology or your brain.
Just watched David's vlog and said "wait they didn't show the results of the brain scans!" And here I am. I love how their vlogs compliment each other.
This guys just using big words to sound clever 😂 why did he need to say he’s sweating bilaterally as if it’s a significant finding 😂😂 he could be just nervous
@@k.b.8763 if you are practicing medical things like this then yes, he is full of shit. My bf just got her doctorate in religion and is a pastor, you think she should be practicing medicine? A MD needs to go to do more work and education and clinic hours at a hospital and training with patients while being supervised. It's completely different. I can bet you anything if this guy was actually investigated, he could get in trouble for what he is doing and making false claims without a medical license.
@@finaarmania1173 he said he did three years post doctorate in functional neurology. I still think what he did was crap, but he probably did have clinical hours in the hospital and with actual neurologists
He's a chiropractor neurologist He has DC DACNB To become a chiropractic neurologist, you need to do four-year at chiropractic college and receive postdoctoral training in neurology.
@@Loneski255 Your lack of knowledge on this topic coupled with a strong opinion about it is troubling. I can see you know nothing about neuroscience. You can look up his credentials; they're legit.
Sierra Johnson Most people don’t trust Neurologist who aren’t MDs so... You can get a joint PhD-MD but I’m guessing that’s not what this guy has. As someone who is in an internship at a Med school and has read many journal club reports on the topic of Neuroscience I can confirm that half of what this guy said is as legitimate as naturopathy.
Tatyana Martinez she held him back. He was constantly focused on trying to make her happy, fix things, etc. She was terrible for him. She needs to Gon to rehab.
ml een she admitted it but she needs help. It's a constant pattern she has. I feel bad for her. She genuinely has no one in her life telling her the truth. She needs to go to a rehab for 2-4 months to seriously figure out how to fight these demons.
@@kristiekane3735 tbh it seems like she has borderline personality disorder to me. People with BPD have intense fear of abandonment and that causes them to act out, which in turn is what makes people actually abandon them. It really is a nasty cycle
dude I really don't think you know what you're talking about,, him mentioning he's doing collaborate work with UCLA is only one of the signs providing to the conclusion of him being a legitimate researcher/doctor.
I absolutely love when you guys do stuff like this, I suffer from migraines and this place is definitely somewhere I wanna look into so thank you for reaching out with your content!!
I appreciate the way David vlogs by not holding the camera exactly in people’s face all of the time. He holds the camera low so he’s still making eye contact with people and I feel like that’s important when your someone who vlogs a lot.
Lol this guy was really laying it on thick. "Very in depth physical examination" lmao.. For those who don't know, this is a super basic neurological/motor physical exam. He was acting like he was a neurorehabiliation physician or something. Chiropractors aren't even required to have a medical license. An MD could've told y'all this for far less time & money, plus given you actual answers & treatment plans. I hope you didn't pay him for this 😂
