VLOG: Weekend THREE In Lockdown | Fleur De Force 

Fleur, I cannot tell you what a joy it is being able to watch these family at-home weekend vlogs. I had always wished that you'd do more of them in the past and now that we're all in quarantine and these are pretty scary, dark times, it's that much more of a joy to watch them. It literally brings happiness to my day. I hope you continue to do more of them. Also, thanks for doing your awesome charity auction. You are a light in the blogger-sphere and we are lucky to have you.

I love it that you and Mike are vegan but you allow River to eat everything. Love your family and parenting xx Edit: I was trying to imply that I think it's great that they're giving River a choice. If you bring your children up vegan, more power to you 👍🏾

I loved how Mike's car was jammed packed with people, dogs and baby dolls. That looked like so much fun!

River's feels about those baby sheep is how I feel about River forming sentences and basically being the cutest little mini Fleur and Mike I could've ever imagined

I love seeing how you interact with River :) And I'm happy you're not "forcing" a vegan diet onto River. I'm sure she eats vegan a lot of the time, and being vegan is a great thing to do for the animals and the planet. I'm just a little against forcing any kind of diet onto a small child before they're able to decide for themselves. I hope you and your family are doing ok :) As well as the animals, who I'm sure are happy you're home all the time :)

I really enjoy your vlogs, and enjoy how realistic they are. I mean, you don't show just pretty things but real everyday, you show that you sometimes you have a mess in house, sometimes things don't go as planned and sometimes there are unexpected surprises (also positive ones). Please, stay real as you are! 💖

The best part of the week when there is another vlog!!! This one has to be my favorite so far, I loved the lambs and picnic. I’ve got 5 children who are now grownup. I dealt with the eating animals issue the same as I did most things. When they got ta an age I thought they would understand I was completely honest with them. The trick is to only tell them what they need to know and what age they need to know. I started explain the food issue when they were about 4 I started with chicken then slowly added other animals. I would ask them what animal is used to make etc. Just don’t make too much of a big deal about it River will ask you what she wants to know. Just be honest. 2 of my children chose to never eat animals and the others were ok with it.

I was teaching a Sunday school class to 8-9 year olds once and for some reason brought up that cows become hamburgers. One of my kids was HORRIFIED and couldn’t believe they’d been eating cows for so long. She came up later and said “waittttt.... so is chicken from chickens?” I said of course it is, why would you think it wasn’t. She yelled “I just thought that’s what it was called!” Rough day for those sweet babes. Not really sure how to bring it up, just hopefully before River’s nine 😂😅

I’m vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater. We’ve decided our daughter will remain vegetarian until she’s old enough to understand and decide For herself (she’s 1.5). I’m hoping this is less traumatic than doing it the other way round. Obviously that wasn’t the decision you all felt was right for your family, but just sharing since you asked🙂

I had a day like that today with my workout. I had a really good run the last time I went out but today, not so much. I was more winded than normal and cramping up. Very discouraging, but just keep pushing!!
