Is she not allowed to feel like she is nowhere near where she wants to be. You are on the outside looking in, we both don't know how big her dreams are. A person living in a shack could be upset when they see a person with a flat crying saying that they don't like living in that flat. Yet they truly want to have a house. We have been programmed to always think that someone has it far worse than you do so just be grateful and want more. The other reality is there is someone living the life you currently want. The two can exist being grateful and still wanting more in life for yourself. It hurts to not achieve your goals at the pace you want them. Ask any elder if they don't wish life was a tad different and listen for the answer and the emotions too.
