Margot is so adorable! A fun activity for you two to do is sing along to our nursery rhymes. Our songs aim at representing the underrepresented and teaching children about diversity. Featured on Pix 11 News in New York and sung by two Broadway singers, we are sure Margot will love them!

Margot is a precious angel! One of my daughters had a minor surgery at 3 years old and had to be under general. They let me walk back into the OR with her and stay until she was under. I did cry, but only after she fell asleep. She was fine and the nurses were very sweet and understanding. ♥️

Margot is too cute. She lets you do her hair. My daughter barely lets me comb her hair. I love it. 🥰🥰🥰

I watch your story and was in tears because I suffer from PSCO for years, I have one son who is almost 9yrs old and was trying for the longest and can’t😭😭😭😭😭 it’s very heartbreaking!

My daughter had an allergic reaction to shellfish at 1 year old. Her great grandmother gave her some without me knowing. It was AWFUL! 3 Years later she had outgrown it. She is 12 years old and has no issues. Praying for Margot and your family! I have followed since bash was a baby and I absolutely love any content you put out! ❤🙏❤🙏❤

Good luck! My 15 mo old was just diagnosed with both dairy and peanut allergies. My older son isn't allergic to anything so this is a new world for me.

Your kids are adorable! Yes, both my kids were put under anesthesia. My oldest who was about 2.5 had to get his adenoids/tonsils taken out and did great with the anesthesia (15min) . My youngest has had two surgeries. She was a month old when she had a colostomy done (30min?) and also did great with that one. Then her second surgery, she had to get an MRI of her spine and a correction of her digestive tract (6months old) but had to be put down for about 4-5 hours and that had her very sick because she couldn’t keep anything down. Reading the comments, it sounds like the less time you are under, the better the outcome is :)

Many prayers for baby Margot...our son who is now 3 had a lip and tongue tie revision at 8 months. We opted for the laser procedure and it was overall quick and a painless recovery. I asked hubby to accompany him back to the procedure room to ease my nerves.

Thank you for sharing this. My little girl was born a few months behind your little princess and also has eczema. Dove has been the only bath soap I can use. I was also thinking of getting a allergy test taken, and because I watched your video I am setting that appointment up now .thank you again.

Awww I have a 12 month old and she's had some similar issues...we found out she had a peanut allergy the first time she had peanut butter at 8 months. She had a reaction so we gave her benadryl and took her to the ER at our local children's hospital. She ended up being totally fine, they're so prepped to handle food allergies in babies. She ended up doing skin testing and tested positive for peanuts and walnuts. She has an epipen now. She also had a tongue tie, but we had it clipped about 2 weeks after birth. She wasn't under anesthesia, but she fussed less than a diaper change. I was shocked! I was so scared because I thought it would hurt her. Afterward she acted like nothing happened. Like there was no recovery time, she just immediately went back to normal. Super easy! And I'm glad we did it. My sister has a tongue tie that was never addressed and she says that it hurts her sometimes when she's sick or when it's cold out, so she thinks getting them clipped is a good idea.

Margot is absolutely Gorgeous. I will keep her in my Prayers 🙏Krista hang in there, i know it's hard when our babies have to go under anesthesia. My son had to have surgery when he was only 3 weeks old. He had double hernia and hydro cells. I was terrified. He was only 7 pounds the day of his surgery. The hospital actually let me carry him back to the pre surgical room. I tried not to be scared but.. He was so small. But Thank The Lord Above he came through the surgery. Without any complications. I'll pray for you and Brandon as well. Please keep us informed on Margo's surgery. God Bless and keep y'all. Love💞 your Indiana friend.

Hi! My daughter is three and she just went under an hour of anesthesia this morning, we planned months in advance for it and it was tough thinking about them putting her to sleep. It took her a while to get up and come to, but the medical staff we worked with were a God send. Your baby will be fine especially since she’s only having it for a short amount of time & if you really trust the medical staff that will be helping you. Just wanted to encourage you and your husband!!!

I don't know if you follow Emily Norris, but her oldest son is challenging for peanuts. I believe he has made it to the in home stage of the challenge. Prayers for the lip tie being resolved🙏🏾🙏🏾

My 17 month old baby girl had surgery to get her Adenoids removed. Surgery was 15 minutes long and I was so nervous but knew it was best because she has sleep apnea and would stop breathing for about 10-15 seconds. It was a very necessary surgery. I hated the fact my husband couldn’t be in the hospital with me but o totally understood why. Us moms are tough and I know you got this. Your baby girl will be in my prayers.

I personally had a diary allergy as a kid and I grew out of it :) I drove my Mom nuts because as I became more independent I would try different diary and not tell her ( thankfully I didn’t get sick) but I love diary now ( probably eat too much lol) 2 of my four nephews had a peanut allergies and both grew out of it! It was scary because I was a teenager and babysitting and gave my baby nephew some peanut butter and he broke out in hives and thankfully he was ok. I’m sure her surgery will be nice and quick and she will have a nice nap. It’s scary but they monitor everything so carefully ❤️

If you go the route of revising the lip tie, Definitely do your research on the ENT to be sure they are a preferred provider. Not all ENT’s are trained in lasering ties. Lasering is definitely the way to go. Cutting works in short term but the tie can grow back. There is a lot of misinformation out there about ties.

Also wanted to add I would ask questions about her having to be put under. I have background in ties and it’s not necessary to put them under so if that’s not something you would prefer it does not have to happen to revise ties. Good luck with the procedure!

I had totally forgotten Sebastian had speech issues. I’m currently going through that with my 2 year old and would love an update on the journey you’ve been on with him/any tips or advice. Still cannot believe Margot is one, feels like just yesterday you found out you were pregnant!

Both my boys were put under when they were under two years old for surgeries they were both outpatient surgeries and yes it’s very scary . However the doctors were awesome and they let me be there to keep my child calm as they put them under and then I left the room. When your child comes out of anesthesia it can be scary because they’re so out of it. Other than that both of my experiences were positive. Just educate yourself on anything you’re worried about before the procedure. She’s going to do great.

My son had to have surgery at 6 months and was under anesthesia he woke up not to happy but was fine after and you would never knew he had surgery

Did have to go under anesthesia when he was I am months old. I’m game for no more than an hour. He had to get one of his testicles readjusted cause it was too high and wasn’t in the sack. Luckily he was so small that me and daddy were more scared than he was. And later after he woke up and was home I feel like nothing happened when we gave him to the doctors we walked away and cryed our eyes out LOL but they took great care of him! I haven’t been great ever cents thank goodness and hopefully with baby number two since it’s another boy we don’t have that problem again

Allercan be scary my oldest(he will be 8 next month) has allergies to peanut, treenuts, eggs, and the protein that crosses all fish. The allergist said most people allergic to a specific type of fish, not the protein in the fish. We have gone for food challenges but he is never able to do them cause the skin test is always to severe. We had my youngest tested once he was on solids for a while b/c the doctor said there is a high probability he will have allergies also. He was skin tested and later blood tested cause even after avoiding the foods from the skin test he still had reactions. He was positive for wheat, soy, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, bananas, peas, shellfish, and eggs. We do did the food challenge for peanuts he passed but later had a reaction to it. The doctor said 10% of people who pass still have a reaction and clearly my son is in that 10% and to stop giving it to him. We had to give him peanut power in his milk to help his body continue to "build up immunity to it". Fast forward heis now 2 was blood tested again and it now says he is only allergic to wheat, peanuts, and eggs. They both have epi-pens. And needless to say noone can feed them without checking with us 1st. I pray they as well as your daughter grow out of their allergies. Best of luck to you.

My daughter wasn’t able to breastfeed and no one could tell me why until she had a dentist appt that revealed the lip tie and explained at the time why certain words sounded odd when she spoke, we were suppose to have a schedule for getting it clipped but at 2 years old when it was found she was running holding a toy flashlight and ran face first into a door and it bled profusely but apparently bc she had hit her lip tie and broke it free so the emergency room doctor said congratulations you just had a free surgery lol so it fixed her speech issue and well freed her lip haha.... But a few years later running around she fell just right and broke her arm at the elbow just about and she did need surgery to have pins put into her arm and she had to go completely under Anesthesia and I’d say about maybe 15-20 min surgery and the only thing about I was when she was coming to. She was disoriented about where she was and who I was which was kinda sad and scary for me bc she wouldn’t let me console her right away but once the anesthesia wore off more and more she was herself again and asked to get donuts on the way home hahaha.....so I’m sure all will work out and Margot shouldn’t have it as rough coming to considering the little amount of time she’ll be under. This is my backup ring. I got it when I was pregnant after my engagement ring and wedding band stopped fitting. I still have baby weight to lose, so my rings still don't quite fit yet.

My son had ear tubes put in at about 3 years old..completely under general anesthesia..took ten minutes..no big deal

My daughter was 2 months when we found out she was tongue tied and had to have it cut with the laser and it only took about 5 minutes

To each her own. I'm not someone who usually finds beauty in dark clouds, humid air and slippery roads, especially when I have to drive in it. Beauty is 100% subjective!😊
