Realtor here👋🏼 I’m in a very different part of the US but a really steep driveway is probably the reason why the property has sat on the market.. it’s turn off a lottt of potential buyers. My parents go to MD Anderson every other week for my moms treatment! I’m so sorry to hear about his dad, but he is at the best place possible! I will be praying for all of you. I know this is a hard journey!

Great vlog, as always! The house thing is super exciting, and you should definitely do what you want. My thought was that, sometimes, it’s so easy to get swept up in the real estate purchasing. That steep driveway would be a possible deal-breaker for me, and it seemed in the video, you had a lot of ideas of how to change the place. I’d caution you to wait until you find THE place. I know you’re thinking you’re wasting money renting, but simplicity & peace of mind is worth something. Big hugs to Jordy’s dad. I lost my dad to cancer 5 years ago. He had it 18 years prior & survived. I hope nothing but the best outcome for his family.

I've been taking seed for months now and I love it. I first got introduced to seed from you. Me and my fiance are in love with it he had stomach issues for years and ever since you've been taking it he hasn't had many stomach issues and he is much happier now. If anybody is even thinking about doing it just do it and try it it is awesome
If the house is on that steep of a hill or incline make sure you have it checked for foundation issues and shifting. That will be a very expensive maintenance later down the road.

Your third habit stack should be sitting in the sun for five minutes (balcony / garden ideally). Combined with drinking water first thing in the morning my calm app says this is the best way to set your body up for the day ❤️

Girl! That driveway will be a slide during those Austin ice storms! You'll have to be flexible and able to stay home during those few days a year. it's a really cute house and you have some good ideas to make it a great fit!
Also consider resale value / ease with that driveway. I was taught never buy a house with a steep driveway and never buy a house that is downhill from the street ;) (obviously there are people who do and I learned the tip about downhill after dealing with $$ drainage issues).

Michel, have you thought about the safety implications of posting this house hunting/Airbnb rental journey online? You’re essentially going to be giving out your home address if the rental unit is on your property.

Prayers for Jordy & his family! Love the cuffed sleeve Nancy Drew look! I would pass on the house. I think the steep driveway could be a deal-breaker with the occasional snow/ice storms Austin gets. The anxiety is not worth it. Ask your Realtor to see if you can find out: Is the driveway up to code & What the reason for the price reduction and potential reasons prospective buyers backed out.

HABIT STACK: Once i did pigeon pose every single day until it didn’t hurt anymore and it was amazing how much more flexible and toned i felt just from my hip flexors being open! Or plank lol you can add/remove! Switch it up, make it fun!
Great video Michel. Prayers for Jordie Dad during this time. My husband has gone through cancer surgery 2016, radiation and chemo. He is doing really well, he has his tests done every 6 months since, and doing great. It’s so important to keep a very positive attitude. I won’t say it wasn’t a struggle, but we’re doing amazing. Your Dad will get through this, and be on the healing end of it too. Lots of love to you both. Michel….trade in your car for a 4 wheel drive 😆, you’ll climb that driveway no problem. With the washer/dryer, you could buy front loaders. In Europe we actually only have frontloaders. You can put cabinets around them and a countertop on top (ofc with some space in between) 😊
Thoughts, prayers and positive vibes for Jordy’s Dad. The house, I didn’t get the sense that you felt it’s THE house for you. When we bought our home there was an unmistakable vibe it was the right one. I can’t explain it, but everyone I talked to during the search told us we’d know when we know. And they were right. Wait for the vibe, you’ll know!
Prayers for Jordy’s dad 🙏🏻 If you get a front loading washer, you can put a shelf over the washer/dryer area to keep the window light. Then you can also install cabinet doors so the washer/dryer are discretely tucked away. I don’t know about that driveway though! 🤣
