Hello Caroline! I really enjoyed this video, it cheered me up a little because today was kind of a bad day. I am looking forward to the next video from you on Monday! Currently 4 out of my 6 traveling cards are traveling for more than 20 days already and as I am pretty new to postcrossing, I have to be patient and wait. One is traveling for 39 days already! I think I will resend a card, because this was one of my first cards and I do not remember if I did everything right... I think I did not put an Air Mail-Sticker on the card... Hopefully, some of my cards will arrive next week so I can write new cards again! Also to your question about the decoration on the cards: I love to decorate cards with washi tape and stickers and I think when sending a card to a male you may use simple, not so colorful colors as you did on the card you‘ve sent! There are also men who like bright colors and decoration, but you can not know. Just do what you feel like: If you want to decorate it colorful - do it! A lot of postcards travel more that 20 days and a lot more than 30’days too! So keep faith! They will arrive eventually ! Also don’t worry about the card travelling 39’days, it’s not really alarming. To which country is it travelling to? Also don’t worry about the airmail sticker, this sticker is nowadays more of a decoration than something that is needed. Really don’t worry about that. Also for the decoration for guys I am always wondering what to do. But I like to decorate a bit at least each of my cards. before i never decorated postcards for guys and recently I changed my mind when I received some comments here on RU-vid from guys telling me that they liked decorated postcards too.. sooo i never know what to do exactly! thats good. i hve 12 travelling postcard, all expired (more than 60 days). and i am still unable to send postcard with ID as most postcards sent to me have not been registered, as postcrossing may say. I did explain, i cannot register them as i have not received them. So now i just need to wait, and wait some more...n not sending any postcard....so now i am just doing other stuff like organizing my collections heheheh

haha yes I like to "work" on a rather clean desk but I don't think it's that tidy once I start writing and laying all my washi and stickers all around my desk!!! But every night before going to bed I always clean my desk so that I have a nice desk waiting for me the next morning! I love that feeling!!!

Je suis vraiment heureuse de voir que tu aimes mes vidéos et mes aventures de postcrosser hehehe :) Pour répondre à ta question, perso j'écris toujours le pays en Français dans l'adresse de me cartes car je me dis que le pays qui va envoyer la carte et qui va lire le nom du pays ça sera la France. Donc j'ai toujours fait comme ça depuis le début et je n'ai jamais eu de problème. Après j'imagine que d'écrire le nom du pays en anglais ne doit pas poser problème... mais je t'avoue que je n'en sais rien et je ne préfère pas tenter l'expérience vu que ma manière de faire à toujours très bien fonctionner alors je me dis qu'il ne faut surtout pas changer une équipe qui gagne! heheh Et toi tu fais comment? @postcrossinglover Bonjour Caroline! :) Oui on peut bien évidemment se tutoyer, c'est bien mieux ainsi ;) Je commence tout juste le postcrossing, j'écris actuellement mes 5 premières cartes et j'ai noté le nom des pays en anglais sans me poser la question, c'est seulement après coup que je me suis demandé si ça pouvait éventuellement poser problème. Mais je pense que je vais tenter le coup comme ça pour le premier envoi et je verrai ce qu'il en est! Salut, chère Caroline ! Cette semaine - jusqu’aujourd’hui - j’ai reçu 2 cartes : Une de Pays-Bas et une d’Allemagne (près de Paderborn). Maintenant j’ai reçu exactement le pareil nombre de carte, que j’ai envoyé. Je suis un peu inquiet, parce que ma première carte (elle á sa destination en l’Etats Units - environ 7.500 km de moi) n’arrive pas encore (ça dure approché un demi an jusqu’á maintenant). Alors j’ai écrit une deuxième carte á cette personne. Ah, j’aime le Washi-Tapes et aussi des stickers. Oui, on doit faire des stickers dans les cartes. Aujourd’hui quelques cartes de moi sont arrivées dans leurs destinations. Et une personne (un homme) m’a écrit dans la case prevu sur le « Use this space to send a thank you message to the sender of the postcard »-box : « J’aime beaucoup la carte avec la forêt, que tu as choisi pour moi, parce que je ne me promené pas beaucoup dans le forêt, qu’avant la pandémie. Et maintenant, parce que tu as choisi cette carte, je dois me promène dans la forêt.» Il semble qu’il était très content avec ma carte. J’espère que tu vas bien. Andreas

it is quite weird to find out that sending postcard from france to another the eu member is required for international stamps. bc i was living in czechia and when i wanted to send postcard to turkey (my friends) they always asked me that would i want to send it to international or the eu states? they doesnt count other eu states are international. i guess every country has their own mail policy 😂😂

And I love the stamp box that your boyfriend made - mine made me box for my postcards, it's good to have someone who understands are hobby :D In Poland, we don't have many international stamps either - only Christmas and Easter ones, so I usually use 3 or 4 stamps. warm greetings, stay healthy and happy postcrossing ❤️

Oh how I love this kind of video's Caroline. I always feel like writing some cards after watching your enthusiastic vlog. When writing a postcard to a man I do exactly the same thing as you. I use washi-tape but nothing too cute or girly, usually something black and white or with planes or trains. The addresses you drew were also fun. Norway is so cool and Germany and UK are always okay. No postcard writing for me this weekend because we are going to the ardennes. But the weather will be amazing and I can't wait to go hiking in the woods.
