I struggled with this same issue when I was in college with my boyfriend and even after we graduated. It really put us on the same “wave length” when we moved in together. Because we have totally different schedules. But when you get home you see each other and find those “pockets of peace” together.

The boyfriend part is super relatable! It's important to hang out together, but also have stuff outside of each other. I think it is totally healthy. The boyfriend thing is very relatable! It was a big struggle for me and my ex bc we lived about an hour away so we felt like the weekends had to be reserved for each other, but honestly I don’t think we successfully figured it out bc there were a lot of times I wanted to stay home, not bc I didn’t want to see him but bc I just wanted to be home!
