my rule of thumb for expired food is always depends on when i opened it and what it is. once u open non-dairy milk, u got like a week or 2 until it can start getting bad. dairy usually has the same. for veggie/fruit u got a week usually before it molds. things like that guac tho are typically good until opening, even if the expiration date has passed. it’s only really bad when its brown. hope this helps a little :)
