It was such a pleasant surprise to see a Lagos vlog. I was just reminiscing on this time last year because I was in Nigeria as well, for seven whole weeks, but I'm an Abuja girlie when I'm in Nigeria. When you picked up your camera and your background showed your Lagos room, I automatically started smiling with you too because the joy on your face was evident. Hope you enjoy your time in Nigeria. Already looking forward to the next couple of vlogs. Nigeria vlogs are always the best.
20:00 It is definitely intentional the way these airlines treat their African flyers. They always give us the worst experience in every way: dingy terminals, older planes, dismissive flight attendants etc.
Last minute packing is chaotic and for me too and good tip about separating the shoes. Amazon has luggage scales that are super helpful. Air France is terrible for their subpar terminal and aircraft for flights servicing West Africa. I hope upgrades are in the near future and you have a better overall return experience . The pure bliss on your face when you shared your arrival at home was awesome. Continue to soak up the sun and fun in Lagos!
Come through looking snatched! The thought of a last minute flight raises my anxiety 😩 I'm watching this whilst decluttering/tidying/packing to move home so I'm feeling it too
It’s surprising you complained this much about Air France and the terminal. I flew from NY to Abuja during the summer, it wasn’t bad and I had access to the lounge with an Economy ticket. I totally agree with you about the luggage issue. They are definitely manipulating those weights plus they can do better with the food.
When you were storytelling your airfrance experience I really enjoyed how the story was told. sorry for what you went through. When I fly to Nigeria it’s either KLM or Luthansa my folks used turkish airways last time. Daddy loved it but mum swore to never use them again 😂 worst experience she said.
Thanks lovely! It’s funny how 2 people can experience the same exact thing and has different recollections. I would probably Air France again - with a shorter layover, my own food and my own entertainment lol
