York looks like a really fun place to visit! I’m sure there must be Christmas markets in the US, but I don’t remember ever seeing one. Not that most people I know need more Christmas stuff!

The Lodge Guys Maybe not on a bigger scale than the Lodge, but I know some people who seem to have a surfeit of Christmas decorations to put out. I know my mother has more than she can use, and lots of her stuff doesn’t get put out now that she’s older and has less energy to decorate. In any case, there’s plenty of Christmas entertainment out there, and it is fun to drive around and look at the lights that people have put up.
