Although I’m not particularly a fan, I think it’s great how happy Invicta makes its collectors. It’s almost a religious group bound by watches and having fun. That’s what it’s all about.
I'm a budget watch collector and I have several Invictas. Some of them I wear but the big ones are just too big for me personally. I guess if you're a big guy, they might look okay. But they're also really thick. I have one that's 60mm diameter. It's more of a wrist clock than a wrist watch. Invictas are nice looking watches and that's why I buy the big ones. For me they're more of a novelty than something I would actually wear. But to each their own. I only buy them when they're on sale. I also pretty much only buy automatic watches these days. If you've ever taken a quartz watch apart, you'll see that there's not much to them. Most of the cases are filled with filler pieces that surround a movement about the size of a nickel. Nothing against quartz watches. I just really like automatics. They're engineering marvels. Check out how much an automatic chronograph costs. You'll be amazed.
Very cool collection. I have found using some small pieces of felt or even paper towel on the bottom of those trays helps protect the watches from the hard plastic. Fun video for sure and totally agree on the Invicta family vibe is amazing. 👊🏼👊🏼
Invicta has built a reputation for low quality & that’s precisely why their watches are so cheap. They use lower grade components & materials throughout their lineup. I’m a watch collector, but not a snob by any means; having no affinity for Rolex nor Patek. However, I respect QUALITY & VALUE over junk or thrift. Brands that are well respected in the watch collecting community & have earned their stripes: Breitling, TAG, Farer, Seiko (Grand Seiko), IWC, Panerei, Hamilton, etc. If you expand your mind & knowledge of watches, then you’ll realize that Invicta is a bottom-feeder in the timepiece Ocean.

Invicta makes some ugly watches. Some beauties also. I collect Invicta automatic self-winding watches. I steer clear of the ones with the Mercedes hands. I have never found myself liking them on any brand watch at any price point. That's just me. 👍 for your video. I enjoy hearing from others who collect the same brand watches as I do. I also collect Benyar, Casio, Citizen, and Timex.
