So I had no idea that fabric softener will ruin fluffy throw blankets 😕 part of the reason I use softener on them is for the smell! Smells sooo good when they are freshly washed…… are scent beads okay?

Fabric softeners are waxes. They build up on your clothing. That’s why they mess up soft fuzzy blankets and micro fiber cloths.

You can ruin your towels the same way, do not put fabric softener or dryer sheets with your towels. Scent beads can also create a buildup too. If you do have that problem a vinegar rinse will usually help break it down.

My Oma taught us how to play Rummikub so we never actually read the rules...well turns out we've been playing it wrong for like 10 years. She just added rules when she wanted to. So now we decide if we want to play "Oma Rummikub" or "Regulation Rummikub" 😂

I use 1/2 cup of baking soda with regular detergent when washing fuzzy throw blankets to keep them fuzzy!

Piggy back on my previous cream cheese comment: My nearby Meijer was completely sold out of brick cream cheese but had a fairly decent amount of spreadable/tub cream cheese. So I was able to buy the onion and chive cream cheese I needed to try that tortellini soup 😍

It’s our absolute favorite! During the pandemic shutdown, we would play FOR HOURS and the biggest loser had to brave the grocery store the next day scavenging for supplies 🤣🤣🤣

I read about the cream cheese shortage early today.... and I immediately thought of Tyler using MANY packages of it. LOL - There are stores that are limiting 2 per customer. There are restaurants that aren't making Cheese cakes due to this. AND Kraft has apparently reported they are paying people to NOT buy it. (not sure how that's working)

Wash the blanket you think you ruined normal but put white vinegar in the softener compartment and it’ll come to like new. My dad taught me this

Glad to hear you are attaching the IKEA furniture to the wall. After watching that Netflix show "Broken" where they talked about kids being killed or injured by IKEA furniture tipping over (when kids climb on the open drawers) it is a very important step. They are suppose to include the hardware needed to do this.

I know it's no where near Christmas watching this much later but seeing the Rummy Chip Game, we called it Rummy Cup at my Mom and Dad's house i used to play with them all the time over the years and played with my kids and my parents. They are both gone now and this brought back such lovely memories of playing and having fun with them. Love your videos. You two are the cutest couple.

Omg I got to see Les Miserables on Broadway and it was absolutely fantastic😍😍… I also got to see Cats.. they were two shows that I absolutely didn’t want to miss out on before they were no longer on Broadway. I will never forget that experience.

Tyler, you belonged in my high school choir. We all got the teacher to change the songs to stuff we liked...Led Zeppelin, The Who, we got a Guns n Roses song in there. We didn't have to smile during Behind Blue Blues, but we were by the end. Seriously, Stairway to Heaven is a classic all children should know. I remember the head of the music dept coming in to watch, mentioning they were different songs from prior years. Teacher responded, "We all like these better." 💁‍♀

I wash softer blankets all together with nothing else and no fabric softener or dryer sheets and it is a life changer! I was wondering how you guys scored on all that cream cheese 🤣🤣 My spoiled kids like the Philadelphia Whipped cream cheese and I haven't been able to buy it in weeks.

I haven't heard of a national cream cheese shortage here in Western North Carolina either....all I've heard about is the coin shortage, and we got hit super hard earlier in the year by the gas shortage in my area. Plenty of cream cheese here though...

LOL, I did think about the cream cheese shortage when I saw that video. In my area I have more trouble finding heavy shipping Cream for my coffee. Trying to eat low carb.
