Mariah hit the upper whistle register and Ari blended with the lower layer. Both levelled at Santa!

There was no real issue but it's undeniable that it got to them a little bit by the fact that they have shaded each other over the years. Just like with Aguilera, Ariana SUDDENLY stopped mentioning Mariah as her idol on any interview, which is too dramatic of a coincidence to not be seen as shade. Mariah also had a jokey picture with a Xerox copying machine that clearly was intended to shade somebody specific. And small stuff like those over the years. Even Nick Cannon told a stoty about how Mariah was bothered by "the next Mariah" comparisons because it felt diminishing to her, like "how dare you!" But it took just one thing to happen to break the ice last year and, of course, it HAD to be the pupil who did it. Lol. Ariana greeted Mariah for her "anniversary" on video on her Instagram stories and said something sweet that would melt the heart of anyone you say it to: "I loved you then, I love you now and will always love you forever."

@@Dr__Feelgood you implying mariah is fake is not to be taken lightly. All the media you consume is surface level, but one thing is for sure: Mariah never strikes first. She was for sure shading the media and she hates the comparison and not ariana, because she knows how annoying it was with whitney. Ariana had to stop because the fans got toxic. The christina thing was mentioned only twice or thrice on mariah's side, and it seems like she had a bad impression and Mariah is very cautious on who she lets in her life as her own mother betrayed her. Christina had to stop because the narrative has already been put out and she was offended. The problem is not Mariah, it's always the media pitting talented women against eachother, prying in to the tiniest details they know about her personal life.
