This is my first time on your channel and all I can say is that I was meant to watch this video today. I am in a very similiar situation, currently teaching in South Korea. Everything has been a disappointment since I got here so I've decided to go back home and start from scratch again. This time with more experience and allowing God to direct my path because the first time was also a move out of desperation. I feel every emotion you expressed here. I found myself there because I got an interview to teach in China and it went well, both the first and second interviews. Thank you so much. Please I would like to know if there are schools in China that hire Africans who are not from SA. Been making researches but seems only South Africans among all African countries are eligible to teach English. I have MTCSOL and I am as well making plans to obtain TESOL/TEFL to enable me teach in non English speaking countries. I think everywhere we go especially if we are starting up, we always gonna be pimped. Even here in South Africa its the same thing. I know many companies paying 5k for 3 years of Articles. Its insane, but unfortunately we have to start somewhere. I think 15rmb was pretty decent @Sbahle Mkhize for some of us to start with. Thus about 40k from 5k. 5rmb Accommodation Max, 2rmb food and entertainment, 2rmb taxes, 1rmb transport costs. 1rmb medical aid. You left with 4000rmb thus 10k to send back home monthly. Thus something. When you get the experience then you may consider other options.
