Maybe because I’m from Australia and a paramedic myself, I can be oblivious to why people have to make passing comments about someone wearing a Dexcom? I see a number of diabetes within my job role, and Soph you would be amazed (without being judgemental because I’m not) how organised you are, with only being diagnosed a short time ago. You are doing great, and finding your boundaries for those little things like you are doing, are a fantastic way for you to pull away from the stigma that a lot of people have… where the disease controls you.. but you, are letting yourself control the disease instead.. keep going, and everyday it will become more and more like something as easy as putting on your clothes or brushing your teeth

I have never worn my Dexcom on my lower arm. Upper arm is my go-to spot, and sometimes I will use my upper thigh. (I live in a cooler state, so don't swim as often.)
