Hearing about your candle business was interesting, it must have been hard to walk away but clearly it was the right thing for you as a whole family. I’m watching videos back to back as I’m trapped in bed feeling poorly. I’m happy to have found your channel xxx
Morning Ivana…thankyou for sharing your business story..I especially relate to losing identity after my long career as a teacher and now making and trying to start my own small business in a mindful way. It takes time to adjust.Your garden is thriving and Sunny’s wagging tail and smile on arrival home was priceless .Go well in your days.🙏❤️👋🌱🦘🐨🌏xx
I have been enjoying your videos a lot, Ivana!! This one was my favorite. You are a superstar with everything you do ❤ thank you for all the inspiring knitting and life stories 😘
Love your video content. I want to tell you that I am very much enjoying making your free recipe for the In and Out Raglan. After starting several other patterns and ripping them out I remembered yours. What a fantastic recipe. Thank you so much.
I appreciated your advice on candle making, about essential oils. I won’t bother adding the oils next time and just rely on my diffuser for the good smells 😊
Lovely to see you and sunny ..she is so happy to see you.. its beautiful just like my dog even if I just go out quickly..the love they give us is amazing ..very interesting about the candles..wow. I think that you are very good at creating . See you soon..oh I wanted to ask..what about moths?? Do you not have problems with all the fiber and wool?? Here in south Africa its very tricky. Lots of moths.. Put or pack in airtight bags 😊 because I don't like moth balls at all..
My yarn is usually in boxes but my cones are exposed. I found one or two of my skeins (the ones that were not in boxes) eaten once, but I don't usually have the moth problem. I don't want to jinx it though :) ❤️
What an interesting story, I had no idea candle business can be so successful! Also since your previous episode I craved Borscht ever since you mentioned about it and I think I need to make it. The origins of it can be controversial amongst Eastern Europe as we all would like to claim it but I think it originated in Ukraine but it is also regarded as our (Polish) national dish. 😅 however we make it completely differently to your recipe! Anyway it was lovely of you to mention it and I got really excited!
ah yes, we also have some dishes in Serbia that I grew up with that can also be found in the whole region and it is disputed where they actually originated. When countries are so close together, influences and traditions mix throughout centuries. ❤️❤️❤️
Ivana, love hearing your story. You mentioned about losing your identity and I know what you mean. After being a painter for so long, I finally closed my studio about 12 years. I refused to get a career in "real world" but I was at the point in my life I had to support the family. Now I am a program manager for an energy company. What!! How did I get there? Not only I struggled with "who am I?" question, I experienced Impostor Syndrome for the longest time. At this point in my "career (ah, the dreaded world! Did I sell my soul?)", why I do still feel like an impostor? I wonder if you ever experienced that.
I've never really felt those things, but there were of course other challenges. I pretty much always danced to my own beat, however I wondered sometimes if it would be better if I chose the easier route. I think imposter syndrome is quite common though and it can manifest in different ways. ❤️❤️❤️
Can I just say that I love that you are a T-shirt girly. I think it's a symptom of being a boy mom. I live in T-shirts and yours are great! I love watching your videos, such a great vibe!
:) thank you. Those are usually the t-shirts I inherit from my kids when they grow out of them. Since most of them are getting worn out now, I think I'm gonna need to design some new ones for myself. ❤️
