@@adams4222 They are rewriting American history by taking down Union and Confederate statues, and also going after non-civil war icons such as Christopher Columbus and Mount McKinley (which is now Denali, courtesy of our previous administration). They are re-characterizing America.
@@t41flyer I agree with taking down some statues but that's purely situational. I don't think VMI should because everything they're doing is relating back to VMI. VMI isn't promoting the southern lost cause, they're teaching about how VMI cadets went to war.
What a total crock of 💩! Again the limp wristed left wing morons trying to rewrite history....trying to forget the truth due to there modern concept of political correctness. A word to the wise....when you forget history you are doomed to repeat history.
Love this. Never forget that battle or those who were lost. Brave hero’s and some were boys. Braver then a lot of so called men today who hide behind mask.
Moore than 600.000 dead, it is not a sign of courage to run in firewall, old war system with modern gun, a cause without honor, fighting to preserve slavery is not an honor it's a shame. Fight against his Country is treason. On end a war that is not over in the minds of some Americans
@@rolandmartin1483 their country was being invaded their land burned and their family raped, over 80 percent were born into slavery, if you were out into their position you would be no better than they were
they should've had some blank artillery rounds shot to make it an even better experience for the heroes. at 8:50 we can see those in the rear who most likely haven't passed their apft yet.
I love this re-enactment, but there is one small problem, the Cadets charging across the field have no bullets, canon balls or anything else coming at them. I totally support the tradition, and love the fact that they remember their Confederate ancestry.
