Edit: I have just seen your video for S2S VPN setup and u have used R&R role/feature of Windows....for SQL migration u can simulate the same and can make a video becaus to be honest brother, SQL migration from on-premises to Azure in gr8 demand now days as customers are shofting their servers, resources and workloads on Cloud in order to use their PaaS services so thats why i ak asking to do a favor by making this on demand video....thanks

You will migrate the domain joined VMs in similar way, once migrated you can update the DNS/ADDS settings. Before migrating using appliance make sure your landing zone is in place.
Hi Bro, need help. I have setup the appliance by deploying OVA into VMWare. In Azure migrate project it is created 2 RSVaults one in Central US(Agentless), one in EUS2(other). While I am enabling replication I am getting error as there seems no permission on key vault (Central us). When checked key vault gets created when going for agentless migration.But we didn't choose agentless. We wanted to go with agent based. How come both RSV's got created, how to check in VMWare which approach chosen is it agentless or agent based. Can you please help.
gcp migration with CLI commands very simple & fast....but this Azure so much lengthy & made it too complicate....thats why Azure not become market leader even having flexible GUI feature. It always consume more resources...

We have alrrady giveb Vcenter credentials in step 1 and 2 but step 3 is for App services/webservers and for Sql servers specifically....thats why i am asking abt this step if u look at it

One more thing Ashfaque brother, What is the connectivity here between Vmware and Azure??? I mean in your another video of SQL DB migration to Azure, you used S2S VPN...so whats the source of connectivity here????? How these VM will be migrated to Azure??? Perhaps in this video for demo, you simulate the environment by taking your Local PC as VMware Host setup and used also for Azure as well???? I am asking this as i m bit confused here.....
This HomeLab setup communicates with Azure over the internet. No need for an S2S VPN here. Azure migrate appliance communicates over the internet to Azure. In the SQL video, we have used DMS for SQL for which S2S VPN is required. Not possible to syn SQL DB to Azure over the internet via DMS.
Ashfaque bhai, suppose if we are doing VMs migration from vmware to Azure and there are also some VMs that have SQL serves and DBs on them...so in that case they will also be migrated like other VMs or SQL server migration method should be adopted here also???
If you want to host SQL in Azure native VM then use this method to migrate on-prem SQL VM. If you want to host SQL in Azure SQL server then exclude on-prem SQL VM in this method and follow the SQL migration method.
First point is cleared 100%.....But for 2nd point u said that we have to follow the Sql migration setup....So it means SQL server migration method was meant for both standalone SQL Server migration as well as for the SQL server on VMware VM migration to Azure Sql?
@@MuhammadWaqas-gr4gg 1--If you want to migrate On-Prem SQL VM of VMware to Azure VM, you have to follow this method. 2--If you want to migrate On-Prem SQL VM(VMware or Hyper-V) OR On-Prem SQL physical server to Azure SQL Database, you will have to follow the SQL migration video.
