This presentation will cover why you would want to build these, how to design them, and how to build them. Topics included will be body tubes, transitions, nosecones, types of paper, creating graphics, how to obtain or make mandrels, and how to prepare these rockets to handle ejection charges.
The presenter, Steve Kristal, has been building and flying paper rockets for many years. Steve and his daughter Emma have used these techniques to set over 25 NAR U.S. altitude records and to create a variety of novel sport rockets.
