I agree with what you say, Monica was born with the power of her voice but she has also managed to learn to control it with her great vocal technique that is a little better than Beyoncé's technique.

Not taking away from Beyonce at all. She's a good singer.. but Monica is the better singer. Beyonce is great as a whole package performer however, she can sing very well, she can dance very well, she's certainly got the looks but she's a jack of all trades , she's not a specialist. I think comparing their power/resonance through belting is a mismatch.. I do stage sound. Both microphones are set differently. Also Beyonces stage crew plays with balance and adds reverb at specific points of her belt. I dont hear that in Monicas mic at all...

I’m not making excuses and you seem very unaware about Beyoncé’s insane vocals abilities and you also think that your opinions are facts. 1st of all, most of Monica’s and Beyoncé’s performances are extremely different their approach, language and style are very different. For example Monica’s shows are more focused on the vocals performance and Beyoncé’s way of showing her art is more diverses. ( vocals, storyline, dance… ) So their prononciation are usually different that’s why it’s important to showcase clips that are similar and not showcase clips that are just the same note, there’s so many way to sing a noté. 2nd « Monica’s breath control is way better » This statement is very debatable… I would love to see Monica perform a 2.5hours shows with highly energetic choreography and highly demanding vocals. Hunny Beyoncé’s breath control is famous to be perfect. 3rd, on another comment you said that Monica is way more enjoyable to listen cause of her vibrato is « more pronounced »… 🤦🏻 Do you know what ✨SUBJECTIVE✨ mean ? Her slow and all over the place vibrato is irritating to me and to many, even the reactioner said that he prefer Beyoncé’s vibrato. 4, you need to understand the importance of comparing with fairness and with similar approaches. This comparison is preposterous. Both singers are awesome and they’re capable of doing anything they want with their voices. It’s just a matter of preferences about how they prefer to hit the notes. Just one more thing, you need to bear in mind that they’re singing in different languages which by the way matters. Peace out.
So a language determines how good of a singer you are???? Have you heard of music is tye universal language? Meaning music and harmonies its like math, it exists everywhere, in this case regardless of language. Spanish vs English doesn't mean anything.
@@VegetaUnv7 Due to the fact that I speak both languages I know that in English there are many more phonemes than in Spanish. The way a word is lengthened or shortened when singing matters. Any professional singer knows that. Take it easy!!
