Marcelito Pomoy, never had vocal training. He is gifted with a unique voice. His is a talented artist.

He is Blessed. Marcelito's skill in singing is a God's precious gift. ❤️

He actually revealed how hard it was to switch between pitches. I can only imagine how difficult to do that. Funny thing is he never had a vocal lessons. He's self trained. He's a rare talent.

I’ve heard his singing of this song many times & appreciate your reactions as to what he’s doing with his voice. And he’s sitting down. Imagine what he would sound like standing plus he’s never had any formal voice training. I’ve heard that what he’s able to do with his voice is not easy even for professional singers.

Excellent and inspiring. What a class act. Loved his voice especially the exceptional change in range. It seemed so effortless and I enjoyed the explanations Freya gave which was very helpful.

Marcelito makes it easy because he can. He is a singing angel on earth. For me, this is his absolute masterpiece, something of crystal clear sung, the bright madness. I can't really think of a second person who can do it better.

As for Marcelito's closed vowells, etc, he was imitating Celine Dion so that was apparently what she did. When he imitates other singers, he mimics their exact style.

Marcelito never had any formal vocal training. He was homeless from age seven up to his early twenties with very little education. His musical prowess is God given.

Thank you for starting this series. Just in this one episode, I have learned such a lot. I am not a professional singer, but I was a music student and hired to teach because of my musical ability. I sang in college, and I wish I had had vocal training. Now at 77, my voice was becoming extremely rusty from lack of use. Thanks to your knowledge and clear ability to articulate what Marcelito is doing what he so brilliantly does, I have slowly been reviving my voice, and enjoying singing around the house to the delight of my public--in this instance my Chihuahua. I could not resist to coin him 3 AKA’s this time: THE CLEANEST-FASTEST JUMPING JACK VOCALS OF 21ST CENTURY !! THE MADDEST VOCALS CLEAN-SWITCH EVER BELTED!! THE MAN WITH LEGIT 5-GEAR INCREDIBLE SPEED VOCALS SWITCHES!! There are categories and types of PHENOMENAL ART SHOWS being held at every major stages around the world today, at this point in time, 04th Feb 2020. And I guess the GREAT WORLD CONVERGENCE OF MUSICAL GENIUSES are being shaken by the unexplainable talent shown by MARCELITO POMOY. NO ONE CAN EXPLAIN WELL FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS HOW POMOY IS DOING IT!!! I guess we will let Pomoy himself to explain well on stage how he is able to do that incredible speed switches especially when he does it while engaged singing!! I think it is easier for all of us to just listen to and enjoy how Marcelito sings than to technically reform his talent into how somebody else would like him to sing. I think it is righteous to give the artists with their much needed liberty and provide them with justice than to dictate on them on how they should prefer the likeness of the songs they'd like to sing for intertainment purposes, after all, it is actors audience that matters anyways which, in this case, Marcelito has already earned more than a billion views around the world that gained absolute positive satisfaction including those from both the recording and musical intertainment industries with much conformity coupled with public acceptance. Music is preferably good only to those number of listeners or audience but with how Marcelito sings is phenominal because his growing number of audience loved him for reaching out, his covers are not just penetrating into our hearts but also touches our souls with how he sings the beautiful songs we all knew and loved. He is a beautiful human being with so many flaws based on your analysis and observations, but, somehow, probably amazingly better than any of us. I think the problem lies on how some people could maintain their profit from their prospective talents which we hope is not the case on Marcelito who is a ressurected singer from the street orphanage. Please give him a break, will you?

Excellent analysis! Be aware, at the time of this recording, he didn't speak either English or Italian. He was singing phonetically. And yes, he broke to breathe in the middle of two words but he is still absolutely amazing.

I like how you compliment Marcelito on techniques that he more than likely wouldn't have been aware he was using and certainly wouldn't have known the terms for them back in his earlier singing days. He sang songs as he heard them and sometimes with a more pleasant tone than the original artist.

Admire how you explain and analyze his voice in a very detailed way. Just so great that he reached this level of proffessionality of his voice even just few hours of him educating himself..But his real motivation to reach his talent is him not lucky much to be a normal kid going to school. Marcelito Pomoy is a human being, but one of a kind or very rare species as far as singing is concerned. He has a peculiar larynx or voice box which millions have not possess. It is a God given blessing as a gift to a person who has a golden heart or a special award or reward for his past miserable life when he was young. In other words, its a HUGE BLESSINGS and GREAT LOVE from our LORD GOD.
