This was a true MASTERPIECE never to be forgotten. Her experience with AGT was very complicated and in spite of demands on both sides they eventually agreed to a compromise and she performed on the Show. Everyone came out a winner. AGT got tremendous ratings mainly because of Angelina's appearance on the Show and Angelina got the exposure she was looking for in America. Her family has since moved to California from Norway and Republic Records was smart enough to sign her to a contract but, at the same time, recognizing the desires of her family to keep Angelina under wraps until it is time to officially market her to the world. In the meanwhile she is continuing her education, living a low key life style the best she can and keeping her fan base (her "Angels") happy with her covers and originals on You Tube. Most newcomers to her want to compare her to other artists but they soon realize it doesn't make any sense to do that anymore. NO ONE in the world sounds like Angelina and whenever she does a "cover", her rendition creates a whole new song.

You ain't seen nothin' yet!! There is magic inside this girl. The first time I saw and heard Angelina sing almost 4 years ago. She looked like someone who came from a magical forest where she was close to the earth. She wore a white dress that is standard for any Princess to be wearing though it looked like this Princess got dressed in a hurricane. With a thick pile of black hair that was tenuously placed on her head. She was the last singer of the day and she stepped up to the mic announced what she was going to sing, 'I'm A Fool To Want You'. Oh!, and there is the bare feet to complete the look of The Reluctant Princess. Then she starts to sing, and you swear to God that Billie Holiday has come back as a 7 year old tomboy of a Princess and you stay stunned because this shouldn't be happening. With no start note she launches into a pitch-perfect, perfectly in time rendition of a 70-80 year old song from the 40's that an adult singer with much experience would have trouble singing even with music. Sadly, Angelina’s paternal grandfather died in March 2018 and her maternal grandfather died in November 2019. Angelina’s maternal grandmother Mery Zamani has had tremendous influence on Angelina and her career as she introduced Angelina to Jazz at early age. Regarding your recent reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody Did you notice during her performance they highlighted audience members in the front row. That is Angelina's Family. From left to right Her uncle and manager, her little sister Juliet, her mother and her grandmother. Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts and later her mother wipe tears from her eyes. Sounds like you have done some research because the Angelina fans have not found you yet. You wanted to understand the meaning of the original song. Now Angelina had given the answer. She is on point with her concentrated arrangement and delivered the feeling of FM in an emotional tour de force. Everybody of her audience can feel it. She is a great storyteller. You can bet that Simon knew all about Angelina because of her winning the franchise Norway's Got Talent and because of the failed negotiations with trying to get her to sign with his management and production company. So, while he looked rather prescient in saying that the song came from her (arrangement of the song, etc.), he already knew of her desire and ability to arrange her own covers.
As must as she wanted to impress Simon and she respected him for what he is she and her uncle didnt let him and the shows producers get their greedy little hands on her professionally. They can do a lot for an artist sure but she didnt need them to take her on that ride. She can do it without their input and control. She is that good. That's why she didnt win. I am completely convinced of that. She recieved the exposure that the show can provide and that was enough. No disrespect to Simon and his people. She needs none of what they can offer beyond that exposure.

Thank you for your reaction and welcome to the world of Angelina Jordan. Here is an introduction to Angelina for you and your viewers who might not be familiar with her. Angelina is Norwegian, her full name is Angelina Jordan Astar. Her father is Swedish, her mother is Norwegian from a Japanese father and Iranian Mother Mery Zamani who is a poet and a painter and was a child prodigy in her own rights. She started singing at the age of one and a half when she fell in love with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”. A year later she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and showed lot of interest in artists like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, and Louis Armstrong. Angelina pestered her mother to enter her in “Simons Show” as she called it from the age of 3. Her mother relented and entered her in Norway Got Talent at the age of 7 where she auditioned with Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday. She went ahead to win the the big prize at the finals where she received 46% of the votes while the remaining 9 finalists combined received 54%. Angelina said she likes singing because she wants to bring joy and love to the whole world. One of her dreams from a very young age was to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. She accomplished that at the age of 8 singing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World. After winning NGT, she was flooded with offers from major music labels as well as Disney but they were all turned down by her and her family in order for her to continue her education and to protect her artistic integrity. Her uncle/manager in an interview last year he talked about music labels top executives who would fly to Norway on private jets with huge contracts offers but would leave mad and frustrated because they never expected being turned down. Angelina is fluent in Norwegian as well as in English. She also speaks some Swedish which is very close to Norwegian and probably learned it from her father. She also speaks Farsi which she learned from her grandmother as well as some Japanese that she picked up from her grandfather as well as her mom and uncle who lived for a period of time in Japan. She actually performed a Japanese song at a concert in Japan. Most of her performances after NGT were for charitable children organizations where she helped to raise millions. At the age of 6 and while travelling in another country with her family, she came across a young orphaned shoeless girl who was weighing people on a bathroom scale for some coins in order to support herself and her siblings. After chatting with her for a while and without prompting from her family, she gave her shoes to the orphan girl. She recorded that incident in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot when doing that in public to remember that girl and to remind herself and us about the many needy children around the world. At the age of 9 she wrote and published a book about that encounter making her Norway’s youngest published author. Proceeds from that book are donated to children charities. Angelina Jordan has about 140 songs in her repertoire. Late last year she signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. Her versatility is unmatched. @@aymuseek6028 not true..he’d been chasing Angelina for years trying to get him on his show..many times she said no because she refused to sign his contract. Eventually he said come and sing and no need to sign my contract so she agreed..
