And in another group she would be lead vocal too and even main vocal. She is incredible. There are few idols and artists who are so talented. There are few rappers who have a great voice. (And she is great dancer too)

I think all it needs is a prechorus then we could differentiate between verse and chorus. But I like this song and can appreciate it for what it is because it achieves that goal of being cute and simple. Not every blackpink song can be everything to everyone and each song has its purpose and place. For me, this song is perfect for when I'm in a feel good mood walking down the street in summertime. I think a lot of fans are just looking for this universal, all encompassing, perfect blackpink song to end all songs but dude that's a lot of pressure! I think more people need to appreciate Ice Cream for the specific area of music it's in and not be so harsh when blackpink puts out a single. Just because they have a song that didn't hit right for you doesn't mean that you have to be disappointed in them. This song just wasn't for you and that doesn't have to feed into your conclusions about them as performers or artists.

Give these young talented girls a break! If every BP song has a lot of rap, talks about girl power, and features crazy choreography, people will still complain their songs are all similar and do not try anything different. BP members are only in their twenties. As a fan of many music artists, I just really enjoy these young ladies having fun while making a cheerful and quality summer song and music video in the middle of a pandemic. Also I am very glad that BP collaborates with Selena and American artists. This song is the pink side of BP even the lyric is sexual. But as a female, I still appreciate BP presenting sexuality in a playful and classy way instead of being provocative or vulgar. I saw many complaints and disappointed comments. I understand the song is not your cup of tea. But hate comments! Is that really necessary? My point is to treat others the way you want to treated!!! Being kind and giving others a break equals to giving yourself a break when you need it. I want to acknowledge and respect Blackpink and Selena -or any artist’s efforts and professionalism for their work. Have a great weekend!
