I believe the older gentleman was the guy who originally performed the Korean version of "Delilah". I was told that's the version Mamamoo was covering.

these “random audience shots” are mostly other contestants of the show or the judges. The man ( 7:29 ) is the original singer of this version of the song, he is a legend in Korea.

His name is Jo Young Nam

yes, the original singer of the original version is tom jones. Jo YoungNam covered this song and changed it with korean lyrics and it was also a part of this album “김인배 편곡집 (딜라일라)” (sorry I don’t know the english name of the album, I asked my mom and she told me the korean name). You can find a video of him performing this song on yt.

That final "Delilah" would always be super impressive for me. The timing of that would've been HELL to practice. That very long silence that needs to be followed by a synced harmony of one single word for me is difficult to pull off but Mamamoo nailed it.

The old guy reactor I think is the one who covered the korean version of delilah, basically introduced the song in korea. And the other reactors are senior singers in the industry. The rest are the audience

Immortal Song is a competition show where different singers compete for the audiences vote, its like winner stays on. In the show, many different singers are invited to sing their own versions of the song (I don`t know exactly) and the `random audience shots` are their reaction to the song. For MAMAMOOs - Delilah it was actually their first time participating and back then they where rookies from a small entertainment company called RBW Entertainment.Hope this helps _(^-^)-

I still remember this episode,, probably when I start focusing on Mamamoo after this performance. I have been there since the start of Immortal Songs 2 when it was just Hyorin, IU, Jay park and forgot the other idol who participated, sorry lol You should check out more of Immortal Songs performances, lots of epic performances and lots of singer re-recognized again. I really love ALI, AILEE's performances and Popping Hyungjin with wife performance (wow), lots of emotional and wonderful episodes
