Thank you for your wonderful attention and expertise commenting on Dimash's vocals. It is very difficult to do that while watching this amazing creation. As to the story, follow the 3 necklaces. The drowning boy becomes the soldier who is married to the woman with the little girl. She is the girl from the beach. She gives birth to a baby boy at the moment of the soldier's death. She dies in childbirth. The soldier (Dimash) is the father to the little girl that was killed and husband to the woman giving birth (she is wearing the necklace and so is he). The soldier kills the commander, who is the older boy who saved his life on the beach. On the beach he is upset because the girl favors the boy who makes the necklaces. The older boy does not put the necklace on and bends it in his hand. The symbol is a gnomon, which is the main part of a sundial. He holds it upside down, he has lost his way and uses the symbol in his military clothing etc. He has a warped belief in war and peace. The soldier kills his old friend, and then is killed in turn. As he is dying he is back in the water where he would have drowned if the other boy hadn't saved him. The baby wears the symbol and becomes the robed leader of the multi religion struggle towards the light and life and peace. Dimash worked on this for 3 yrs. Spent 7 million dollars to have the highest quality throughout. They worked in 3 countries and had over 300 people involved in the making of this. Also, before the release he performed this song/story with a background video of the desert and the religious leaders and Dimash in white on the mountain singing this. He performed it for the conference of religious leaders that the Pope attended. The Pope gave Dimash a gold medallion. The words at the end are from this conference. Dimash poured everything into this in his quest for peace. And needless to say his vocals are stunning, personal, and emotional. A masterpiece.

It is truly impossible to not “get there” eventually with this video. As with almost everything that Dimash performs, his vocals transcend language and reveal Dimash’s soul. This is truly an inspirational message from Dimash and should be broadcast the world over. Prayers for peace from Canada!

Every time he screams We’re choosing life i get the goosbumps. He is the boy drowning, his friend who saves him becomes the enemy. He merries the girl but their child was killed by the ex friend he represents evil. Dimash is reborn again - the baby and grows up uniting people and religion. Leading them towards the light-peace. The video is full of symbolisms but too many to mention. The neckless they all had is a piece of a compass. The evil friend chose the wrong direction, his compass was bent , his moral compass was bent with it

The bad guy was the guy that saved Dimash in the very beginning, if you had watched a little closer he had that necklace in his hand and the uniforms contained that image, the Pregnant woman was the little girl, and the boy that drowned was Dimash, it shows how innocence can turn evil, and damage all good. Walking up the mountain is synonymous to the after life, that was what I got out of it and it's a masterpiece. One last thing he showed a mixture of religions walking up the mountain. And the solace and peace as you could see and hear the beauty at the end.

Dear Nina, I'm about 1/2 way through and would have loved it had you stopped guessing through this amazing video. I still love your reactions. The three children are the three main characters. Dimash and the girl were married and it was their daughter who was killed while the mother was giving birth. The young man at the end was the baby grown up. The general was the young boy who saved the young Dimash.

Dimash has lived a thousand lives, Well said. He has an old soul, and I believe he has lived a thousand lives, to be able to feel and understand all the songs he has performed, And his message repeated in all his concerts this year, "We need peace", when a random person says that you may not believe their intention, but we believe and know Dimash means it. I was lucky to be at his Almaty concert where he performed this song live, it was so incredible to be there to hear it and see how he poured his heart and should into it. The next day at the fans meet & greet with 7000 fans at the Almaty Arena, he premiered this music video. As he sat there on the stage talking, I can't help but feel his passion, wisdom even though most of it was in Kazakh and I did not understand at the time. There is a subtitled version of this meeting too by the Eurasian fan club of Dimash, you should try to watch it too to understand him as a person. He did sing a little Kazakh song for a fan a cappella, and played amazing dombra too. Great reactions, thank you!

You probably know that Dimash composed the music and the screenplay. The lyrics from the start depict the (Pied) Piper calling the false tune of war being the way with the promise that is what will bring the world together and there are followers who initially believe (think Hitler and Putin, who with continuous propaganda can lure his people into believing that the current war is just) but realising later this is NOT the path. I think the first child Dimash is saved by the boy who grows up to be the Tyrant. Yes, his daughter was the one that was killed, the mother was the child girl at the beginning and the wife of Dimash. The Mother gave birth then to a baby boy who later grew up to be (not a reincarnation - Dimash was killed) but their son who grew to adulthood and took up the mantle of leader of the path to peace and good, looking all the world as if he was another Dimash. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. The Story Of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story Of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. When Dimash premiered this song at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and gives context to the song and story: "Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much. Ud. vio todo desde el lado técnico, que siendo Dimash es altísimo, pero descuidó todo lo demás, y por lo que Dimash y mucha gente trabajo duramente, y es el mensaje y el lado emotivo, así ha terminado con una reacción vacía. Yes- pulled the strands of this together. Everyone has to pause and reflect... and that's very intentional. This Mini-Movie production and performance {apparently 3 years in the making - and we can see why!} is more about the message than the vocal, although, of course Dimash's vocals and supporting musical arrangeement are always powerful, nuanced and immaculate. Dimash has always said that his voice is merely one instrument he brings 'in service of' the story, and What a Story! So what is the message? Pretty clear. We are on the edge and, as you say; "WHEN are we going to learn!?" Do we, as a human species with so much promise and potential, 'Choose Life'? Or - do we continue to allow the territorial genocidal power hungry 'monkey brains' to; bare their teeth and scream at competitors, charge at fence-lines and pee on their corners - beat their chests, and to continue to grab key positions of power and lead us down the pathway that follows the Dinosaurs? Been waiting for this reaction from you as well, great reaction! It's all about symbolism. The "dictator is the guy who in the begining saved him from drowning. He also falls in love in his girlfriend but gets rejected as he then gets his neckless, love can be a blessing but also a curse. That child that got killed is supposed to be his daughter. At the end he's seeing his whole life as we've seen it flash by as he's dying only to apear again in the form of a shepard for symbolics of the journey we all bare towards the light after death ending in peace and calm with his best memory in time with his love on that beach all while we also gets to see his wife giving birth to his second child, a son. But on a personal look at it... "We are all one, all shares living on the same planet Earth but the end of the journey we all have to do alone as you are your own sheppard in the "valley of death" regardless of what religion you believe in." There are beliefs in ancient and re-discouvered in a way thinking that we are all God (or whatever God you prey to or believe in) and God is all of us. God can be anything and everything and anywhere both in time and place no matter religion but the idea is that we choose life and we choose to live on Earth that is suppose to be hardest trial and we keep living lives until we get transcended to unite with "The Oneness". If you have something "unfinished" you will keep the cycle going (Old souls) untill you can move on. We are all connected to everything around us, the land we walk, the air we breathe and eachother and even Earth and universe itself. Another observation is that the guy who seems to be reading the Koran, migh actrually read the book of "akasha records (up in the sky, the all oness of knowledge)". The story is stronger than the music/singing (which is amazing but the story is what matters here). I think it deserves the attention more than the drums and violins. Just my opinion.
