Love Morissette. She has been featuring the softer, more nuanced aspects of her voice in her recent performances and I am all for it. Her voice is a rare instrument and she has complete mastery over it. That's why she is one of the best vocalists of her generation. Thanks for reacting Coach Freya.

She’s the complete artist. Generational voice with great technique and control. Her dynamics and transitions is just simply amazing. You can see all these elements in everyone of her performance. It doesn’t matter if she’s singing a soft ballad or belting out those high notes … her technique never waivers. Thoroughly enjoyed your reaction to Morissette. You’re 💯 spot on with your analysis. Every performance is from the heart firstly and then the rest follows so easily effortlessly giving what the song requires.mori has all the skills one could ever wish for in a singer. Great analysis 🔥👑

She is utterly brilliant, like you say you don't know what she's going to do next, she's very unscripted and unpredictable because she takes you on a journey not knowing the directions, even her band or orchestra never know what she is going to come with next, the only really true ARTIST and most consistent ARTIST that's in the industry and has been for years it's just that people are sleeping on her 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Thank you so much, Coach Freya, for featuring this Morissette original "Wishing Well". Your comments and descriptions are spot-on! How Morissette has so much control over her voice, how she plays with her different registers, flipping from one to another seamlessly, how well she uses the open throat technique, never sounding constricted or strained, and how she uses dynamics so effectively, like a roller-coaster ride, we are glued to her performance, not wanting to miss a beat. Truly an amazing artist, story-teller, songwriter, Morissette is. 🥰 What a delight hearing all these from a knowledgeable and credible vocal coach like you. 🥰

Freya, if you liked this, try "Ang Paghuwat" (The Wait). It's a duet she sang with the composer of the song, Ferdinand Aragon. The song is in Visaya, the second major dialect in the Philippines. Check out the lyric video if you want English subtitles and for a behind the scenes look at the creative process of Mori and her team. Or if you'd rather, her WishBus performance of the song is sublime. Thank you for your support of Morissette. She is a queen. It's also great to hear her voice in such good health, a benefit of her picking her spots to belt I think.
