OK, OK, OK! I got a TON of requests for Dimash! (I think it was his fan club ha, ha).
However he deserves it!
I remember seeing this video a while back and being wowed by his technical skills.
So much so that I wanted to share him with you and do a Vocal Coach Reacts To Dimash.
Born in Kazakhstan Europe, Dimash has named Michael Jackson, Ermek Serkebaev, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, and Luciano Pavarotti as his major musical influences. He has stated on numerous occasions that as a singer he aims to present Kazakhstan to the world.
(Much like I did with my student Gabriela Guncikova who hailed from the Czech Republic).
Dimash's mother mother Svetlana Aitbayeva is a soprano singer at the Aktobe Philharmonic Society. (probably where he learned some of those cool soprano high notes :-) Both of Dimash's parents have been awarded the title of Honored Music Artists by the government of Kazakhstan.
Dimash gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and in post-Soviet countries in 2015, upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus, and rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's Singer 2017.
(Chinese: 歌手2017).
Dimash also has earned a Major in voice from Kazakh National University of Arts and is now taking his Masters in Composition with the University.
In addition, Dimash plays several music instruments. Piano, Dombra, Drums, Guitar, Marimba and Cello.
Quite the musician.

Dimash is clearly the best vocalist I have ever heard in my 54 years and that's a lot, and I propose nobody can find another in known history. He is almost perfect on his presentations, I can't say perfect because he continues to better his only competition, himself, as his voice approaches maturity which for men are late 20s early thirties. After listening to him so long, most other music, especially current music sounds like garbage. I hope his talent will raise the bar but likely he will be chalked up as an anomaly. Regardless, he will make history and in future years music professors will speak of him like Bach, Mozart, etc. I am glad he came in my lifetime. The person, the performance, the vocal master wrapped up in this humble and generous individual. Almost too good to be true.

wow Ken Tamplin doing a Vocal Coach reaction to Dimash... nice master! Dimash is perfect for analyzing how singing techniques should be applied. Because in a single song he performs many techniques. You can see his throat, the position of his tongue, his mouth, breathing and lots of things more. In addition to genetics (because Dimash comes from a family of musicians) you can also appreciate the great work behind each song. In an interview he said that when he's training he concentrates a lot and gets very angry when things don't go well, which it shows that he's not only a "gift" but a product of effort and hard training, he is a great professional, indeed

Dimash inspires me. But so do. I just found you today and I've listened to maybe 10 of your videos. As an asthmatic, building up my lungs with chords was one of the exercises that I had to do as a child. I had forgotten about that until I seen your videos.

❤️❤️❤️ Thank you, Ken, for your awesome reaction! I’m a 57 year old fan girl thanks to Dimash. This young man has been blessed with the vocals of a lifetime and what does he do with them?He works harder than any human I have ever known to continue to improve, push boundaries and create master classes in vocal techniques simply by performing. While I will never cease to marvel at his abilities, what keeps me coming back to him is the person he is inside; humble, dedicated, hard working and empathetic. This performance was from late 2018. The first time I heard him perform SOS was from The Singer China 2017. The amount of improvement he shows us here is ridiculous and all thanks to dedication, persistence and passion. I think he is probably one of those students that would likely teach you as much as he learns from you. ❤️❤️ Bravo, Ken! Thank you for your reaction as well as your help in getting Dimash more recognition worldwide.

Welcome to the world of Dimash! You can see him perform on American TV on CBS, February 3, after the Superbowl. He is competing in a new show called The World’s Best. Which he already is, imho! Win or lose on the show ( since it is a variety show with many talents, not just singers), he will get great exposure and gain many new fans.

Dimash showed his lower register better with his Sinful Passion performance, and he showed his mixed voice with his The Love of Tired Swans and Titanic performances. He also showed his upper range with his Gakku TV - Unforgettable Day performance (try to identify his highest note which he performed live; don't look at piano, you can't find the note on the piano :D ) Thanks for your great reaction and analysis of registers that he used. what an amazing singer! It seems natural to him; he probably only needs light vocal warm ups, and I thought the same as thee! "About the chest voice" i didn't think he had it until the end, and proved me wrong!
