You NEED to do one of these for each girl. “It’s a disservice for her to be in a girl group.” That’s the beauty of Little Mix; they could ALL be SUPER SUCCESSFUL stand alone artists, but they CHOOSE to be together. When they won the x-factor, they could have split and gone their own ways, but they stayed together. The magic of Little Mix is that they each have such strong and stand alone worthy voices that WORK PERFECTLY TOGETHER.
Agree. It's a shame other best vocal videos don't have as much views as Perrie. My favorite part of little mix is their love for each other. I mean Jade is makes singing look easy, Jesy is actually a very powerful singer and bring so much emotion, and Leigh Ann (I love her, so don't get me wrong) but she wasn't the best singer, and now, she is flawless! They have grown so much TOGETHER!
Bonks49G K because perrie is better than the rest of them. Thats a fact. I hate when mixers just say they are equal and all amazing, its so unreal. They are all good but they offer something different. Leigh is still the weakest vocalist of all of them, her voice just isnt up there, but she is the best performer. Perrie has the most impactful voice, jade has the best voice for blending and jesy has the most unique one.

Jade is almost always in tune and always nails her performance and Jesy brings passion, energy, and just rawness to each performance. THEY are equally talented. This doesn't mean they all sound the same and have all the same strengths. It means they all have different strengths which make them all equally amazing. An opera singer is not better than a broadway singer. A pop singer is not better than a rock singer. They have all improved. You saying Perrie is the best is Purely your opinion. Little Mix was a huge influence when it comes to Perrie's singing.

Perrie was not good enough (the judges of X-Factor said that, not me) to move on beyond just boot camp, so they put her in a group with the other 3. You can't say her voice is the best, because objectively she wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for Little Mix (again, the judges said this, not me)

Ever since X Factor, many people think that Perrie would be great as a solo artist, or she should be the leader of Little Mix, but the thing is that the group has 4 different kind of people with different kind of voices, but they have the same visions and goals, and together they fit each other really well. That's what makes them so special. Without each other, there is no Little Mix.
I agree, and I think that the group doesn't completely hold her back from showing off her powerhouse vocal qualities, I mean they were damn BEAUTIFULLY showcased in this video. I think that the group recognize and respect her abilities, and they dont limit moments like the ones in the video over pettiness or envy. They let her have her well-deserved moments and clearly applaud her for them. This transcends just a talent based relationship, it's a beautiful, SUPER RESPECTFUL, and super supportive friendship/family.
Her being a solo artist or being the leader of little mix wont make them any less. I love little mix but to say that they wont be as successful with a leader is just delusional. They should put someone in front if they want to succeed in the US. May it be perrie or jade, they seem to be the one fitting the mold. Specially since a few people know her and dont even know the group. I cant think of any group that made it big in the US, that didnt have the leader or someone in the front. Being a worldwide group is all about image, vocals sadly take the backseat.

When you said she could be a stand alone artist, its testament to HOW GOOD Little Mix are in general because they are literally ALL just as talented. Every single one of them its ridiculous.
While I agree that Perrie's voice could very easily stand on it's on as a solo artist, what makes Little Mix so special, and what sets them apart from all other girl groups, is that all four of their voices are strong and consistent but sound their very best when they sing together. Their tones fit so well together and compliment each other so perfectly that everything they put out is magic, there is no lead singer because every voice is important on a record. Perrie is the best at belting and sustained notes, Jade has the most gorgeous head voice, Leigh-Anne's is sweet and melodic and is so important durings harmonies, and Jesy's is rich and sexy and soulful. They all love each other and respect each others talent and while yes maybe Perrie has the more obviously strong ("best") voice that is irrelevant because it shines best when she sings with the other three girls.

I can totally understand why you think Perrie could be a solo artist but this girl loves her girls so much, I doubt she’d want to leave. These four have such a great bond and while I do think Perrie’s voice is unique and out there, so are the other three. These four compliment each other so well, I can’t imagine a world where they’re not a band.

You should listen to each of the other members individually as well, because in my opinion what makes them such an amazing group is how each member is strong on their own, but they are bomb together. Around 11:12 were she makes a mistake. She ends up crying on stage when she was performing The End. Since she had just recently broken up with Zayn after 4 years of dating. I just love her so much and even if this was not her best I still love her.
Tristan Paredes they’re we’re actually engaged for a while till pictures came out of him with another girl (with his arm around her waist) that, at first, looked like perrie but had tattoos perrie doesn’t have. well, in 11:19 when you said she did a mistake, we have an explanation (yes, i'm fangirling haha) perrie cried minutes before that perfomance (they were singing 'the end' before and she literally just started crying. a few minutes after, they started singing the song you reacted, and she went off probably bcs she was still with that weird "after crying" voice we all get) hahaha love the video through! one of the bests youtubers for sure!!

Also, you mentioned her use of dipthongs. That's partially due to where she's from. Both she and Jade are from South Shields (north east England), so they use a lot of dipthongs where most wouldn't, for example, when they said Get Weird Tour, they would say 'get weead tooah'

Question. Why is it that when Perrie is getting praised for her truly phenomenal voice, Mixers always bring up the other girls. When the rest are being praised I don't see not even one comment mentioning Perrie. I find it so unfair that ppl don't give Perrie the credit she deserves. All the girls are great singers but for me personally I love Perrie voice more but I would never post a comment downgrading the others cause they are amazing as well. I think that mixers hype up the other three because everyone KNOWS how talented Perrie is, like it goes without saying. I'm a mixer and Perrie is my favorite as well but I feel almost as if it's to not leave out the other three's talents, because Perrie's is so evident that we just write it off as "classic Perrie" lol

all 4 members of little mix can be solo artist ..they all have amazing voices, and what makes that group so unique and a very balance one is that each girl has strengths that the other ones dont have thats why they are a pretty much "perfect group", react to each one of the individual and you´ll get mi point.

Here’s my thing with mixers. They now act like she isn’t apart of the group. Like, if you wanted the other girls to get a lot of hype, hype them up and her at the same time not act like she’s not part of the group.

As soon as I heard Perrie's voice for the first time I thought wow she should go solo, but I also feel she would enjoy the music industry more as part of the group, singing those harmonies with such talented girls is fucking goals.
I love everything about perrie's voice, but personally I think jade's control is crazy too, some times even more than perries. I still don't know how jesy manage the breathiness in her voice, it's amazing. Leigh-anne's is so clear and, I don't know, reliable, is that a thing? They're all so individually talented, I don't think Perrie outshine the girls at all, that's why I love them so much, and think they deserve more recognition. I just realized that the "dark" vowels are what give Perrie her distinct and powerful sound. That's so fascinating. I love that you notice those little stylistic choices and celebrate them instead of just attacking it through technicality like a lot of other people do (whether they're voice coaches or not).

I watched their evolution of their band on X Factor & they really should be together they just blend so well! The judges compliment her at one point during X Factor and tell her she’s the best in the group and should be the lead singer, but she completely shuts them down. They blend really well, you should consider looking at the other girls’ voices
