The reason Asa hits the cadences is.... see how she practices her raps during the pre debut era videos, where she practices the bars, 1000x everyday to be able to have the control and muscle memories... the same goes with the other members.

no, only the radio performances are actually done live with some vocal backtrack. you can hear some pitch correction in "it's live".

@@aiden-es7ck the instrumental is up to personal preference, i was reffering to their vocals. "it's live" did some post production touch ups to their vocals which is a bit weird since their whole channel is around singing live.

Backtrack? None. It is called the music track. The vocals, adlibs, harmonies are purely live vocals.

If you delete the "backtrack" then become an acapella. I mean, what you hear is vocal layer in music track. There's alot of vocal layer part, and in the rap part the layer come from hyunsuk treasure voice.

MSG added by hyunsuk who is co-produce this song, he explain the start of rap part and every end phrase in rap part he add his voice doubling the vocal. Music instrument itself have a vocal layer seperate with their live vocal.

There is a little backtrack here. You can check the video dropped by YG with MR removed, uploaded on BABYMONSTER RU-vid channel.

Yes, if Justin is interested he should check that video out. It's actually from this performance, but YG deleted 100% of the backing music and it's only 100% the voices recorded from external mics (maybe attached to the video cameras) that can't pick up any of the backing music. So it's basically what you would hear if they came into your house and sang to you without any electronic enhancement or music at all.

hah, watched this right after the le sserafim reaction. It's like cleansing my ears. And it's absolutely crazy their ages are 15, 15, 16, 17, 18, 18, 22. As far as K-Pop goes, NMIXX is unmatched live. They do their super intense dance stage practice videos with raw vocals, sometimes even without mics

If you want to check other group with good vocals i would suggest Nmixx. They are very good! Specially Run for roses and dash. Tbh there are many songs they're good singing.
