I am a Mexican Dear and I was in New York at the Barclay Center Dimash Concert at Dec 10, 2019. He sings Olímpico there and is a dream!!!! His voice is perfect, clear, powerful. It's amazing to see it live. His voice is impeccable, the air handling is perfect, his voice is powerful, incredible phighs and a perfect low voice. The song is "Know". This time he seems to be very deep into his mind and emotions (almost oblivious of the audience), as he sings this song almost entirely in vocals. Dimash truly is a master among masters. I know it's cheesy to say, but I think we are truly blessed to live in the same era as Dimash and experience his growth as an artist in real time like this. This must be what it was like living in the same time period as people like Leonardo Da Vinci or Beethoven.

For me it is the most wonderful and musically complete song Dimash has. It also has everything colossal that an Olympic Anthem such as this should have. You really feel and notice that it was made for that purpose and in the Minsk games you could see all that solemnity that is in her music, lyrics and notes .....

Yes, it's another example of his versatility. Igor Krutoy wrote this for him. This is in honor of the anniversary of his country's freedom, about 27 years ago. Krutoy came out of retirement just to provide songs to utilize his unique range and abilities.

He has been training since 5 yrs of age. When you train that long for anything, you get pretty good. He still practices 2 to 3 hours daily. He says if you don't use it you'll lose it. This mans work ethic is second to none. I so idolize him and his talent. Yes Olympico was especially written for him by Igor. Igor puts out music that fits Dimashs special talents.

This song was written by Igor specifically for Dimash to sing at the European Olympic Game of last year in the opening ceremony (thus the name "Olympico"). That classic/operatic voice works so much better for a giant open arena than a pop voice. I've heard him performing this number during his NYC concert and his voice on this song really rose through the roof. You MUST MUST MUST listen to this song in a live setting. It's so much better than any recording. When I heard it live it really shook me to the core, even though I had heard it hundreds of times on YT.

@@HofTheStage it's important for vocal coaches to see the fancams so you can see his mouth and neck area. How the larynx moves, the mouth is shaped, etc that way there will be no lipsync accusations. TV versions have been through sound editing it may sound compressed at times and some are not even synced well. Plus you can't see his mouth movement clearly.
This is one of my favorite videos of this performance. I think the one where you can see all the back up singers is still amazing. However, I love this fan cam one because it's up close and one can see how he positions his jaw, mouth, tongue, and head angle to make those notes come out smooth, powerful, and flawless.
He's goes from a full operatic baritone to Queen of the Night in the matter of a few bars; there is no one else in the world who could do this performance, and there is no way that you could play this for someone, without showing them the video, and have them believe that it is the same person.
