Quick fun facts about Anne of Cleves! (No one asked but I’m bored lmao so enjoy!): •Anne wasn’t exactly a catfish. When she arrived in England, Henry decided to follow an old tale and dress as an old hag to surprise her but since she was German she didn’t know the old English Tale so she freaked out and called him a couple names for hitting on her when she was engaged to the king so to defend himself he claimed that she wasn’t as pretty as her portrait (hence the “I didn’t look like my profile picture). •After they got divorced she actually became like a sister to Henry. She was present in all his children’s lives and was even there for Queen Mary I’s (Catherine of Aragon’s daughter) coronation. •She got more than just a “resplendent palace in Richmond”. Henry gave her more places to stay but she never went back to Germany and only stayed in one palace for the rest of her life. •She treated her maids and servants very well and even took the time to remember everyone’s names If there’s any I’m missing feel free to tell me!

Cleves is actually my personal favorite queen! Lexi Macintosh, who plays her in the West End, is actually one of my personal favorite queens, but I'm glad you didn't watch her West End live performance because she was super worn out and sick and it showed. She doesn't have as crazy of a range as Brittney, but she's still got a crazy powerful voice and is hilarious. Loved the video!

If you want a cleaner version of Britt Mack’s singing, look for “Get Down Six Live Broadway”. You can’t use it as a video for the channel so it’d be just a personal watch but I think you’d enjoy seeing the difference in performance

There's an interview with her where she talked about how they raised the key of this song for her (I think the one in this video is still in the lower key, but it's a little hard to tell), since it really was too low for her, and they had to experiment a bit to find the right balance between finding a key that was high enough for her to sing comfortably, but also still low enough so that it sounded right -- too high, and it lost some of the character of the song. (I think they ended up raising it something like three half-steps?)

This is amazing! Have you done any Beetlejuice songs? Alex Brightman used a special vocal technique to sing while keeping the gravely Beetlejuice sound, and it would be interesting to hear a vocal coach's perspective

Sam Pauley did All You Wanna Do in her first song a day, and it was early on where she was still rocking the pink hair of Katherine Howard when we all thought this might just last the summer. But its like the third thing that comes up on RU-vid when you search and I imagine its totally legit.

Please check out Sara Bareilles is INSANE! Her writing is impressive, her simplicity keeping everything raw gives balance to instruments but also her ridiculous voice. Check out Simple and True from her More Love album. Don't let the first 2 minutes fool you. By the end she holds a huge 17 second note increasing up the scale during, and even afterward. Incredible!

Just saying something here I'm calling you out to rude or anything I'm just want help you because as a dancer when dancing your not really using your stomach muscles unless you're leaning back because when you're body is upright you aren't using them and when you're leaning forwarded you're using your back muscles instead. You might use your stomach muscles a little bit when contacting your stomach but it's not enough to bother your singing. Just wanted to say that so people don't get confused that dancing wile singing is really hard. Yes full on dancing wile singing is very hard but the dancing that their doing is quite easy to do wile singing. Just don't want to be rude just wanted to clarify thank you.

That’s the case with a lot of the Broadway casts performances for some reason haha which is so upsetting because they have an amazing mix and are so talented. Idk the sound mix with the mics always just seems to be off in these other performances. But on stage, they’re magical.

Oh thanks! I just recently added another set of lights and I think it works well. It’s actually in my recording studio but from this angle all you see is the bed ha ha Ha! We left the bed in the room because it helps absorb sound when I’m recording.

Like the west end live ??? Cuz this girl thinks that west end live is a bootleg despite it being the original version??? And she should do some minimal research and honestly I think that the british version is better it's probably because that's the one that has all the music videos with lyrics and animations, like the american versions she watches are more "Bootlegged" than TEH ORIGINAL CAST
