@@leobergstrom5570 The Record Label who owns the song can still demonetize this video because he's playing the song. So even if it is fair use, they could still strike the video.
This is the best comment I've ever read just wow u deserve an award for that one cause we all know that's true 11 years and I'm still asking my life look like this
I was expecting that he would talk about that part in the begging "write my own checks like I write what I sing" her voice is cool on that part and it's my favorite one.
@@kjoseph4804 no they meant when ariana sang "shine" in 3:14. they weren't talking about the speed of the song. they were asking why isn't tristan talking about it. :p
What actually does "gee" mean in that context? I'm not a native speaker which is why I looked it up in the internet but I could't find a fitting translation.
gee isn’t commonly used, but it’s just to express that you’re happy or enthusiastic about something. for example like “gee! that’s amazing.” it’s kind of similar to the use of the word “wow.”
Every time I watch you react to songs I automatically feel like a vocal coach. When I see my friends I always pretend to know every hacks & tricks but basically I'm just repeating your words lmfao. They actually think I'm a pro HAHAH
I see it I like it I want it I check the price I put it back I cry I save my money I go back to get It not in stock I cry in crippling depressing Literally my life Edit: omg 218 likes this is the most I have ever got Edit 2: thx for 390 likes Edit 3: OMFG THANKS FOR 2.5K LIKES
y’all fuckin annoying bye I know lol I was only teasing Tristan because he was wondering in his video what the “hidden meaning” was. He used those words
that was years and years ago. Normal person if they damage their hair... they just chop it off and go with shorter hair for a while... and then they have new hair and hopefully they learned from their mistakes and are more careful with it. Also... millions of women dye their hair and it is not THAT damaged that they have to wear extensions for next decade. I would say that a stylist on TV show would not use a dye that would fry your hair like that.
Bro its rapping. If Nicki Minaj does a 14 sec segment in a song it's rapping but if Ariana does that it isn't? Doesn't matter if rapping isn't her usual thing what she did in the segment of this specific song was rapping. Ya'll be making up shit for no reason.
Lol Tristan ignores the fact that the melody of the verses is literally the song These are a few of my Favorite Things.... which she literally says at the end of the verses 😂 Why is no one talking about that in the comments 😂
I was literally scrolling through the comments trying to see if someone else noticed that he said nothing about that. But I think it is annoying when people start talking about how the song is a "rip off" of the sound of music because it's very obvious that she uses the melody so it's not like she's not giving credit. However, it seems like Tristan didn't even notice
Same here! I find that whenever I sing I think a lot more about the technicalities; how I sing each vowel, where I'm singing it etc. Thank you Tristan!
Haiphie she was allowed to have the same sound of My Favourite Things by The Sound Of Music because that’s her favourite film idk I just heard that somewhere XD
Guys the melody is from the sound of music and the BEAT is from the Thank You, Next music video. I just don’t want such a great musical going forgotten!
tristan i hate not being able to watch your videos because your voice is so chill and makes me want to fall asleep... it’s like asmr because the mic makes the sound from your mouth loud
@Savage Suga-Bear she's had hair extensions since she finished filming victorious because the bleaching/dying severely damaged it. That's why she has the ponytail
Wassup Tristan your my favorite RU-vidr very insightful and good material always. Especially when it comes to singing. 1.6 mill subscribers good for you I remember watching one of your videos a couple years ago and love to hear a vocal coaches perspective on some of these mainstream artist and singers.
laura winchell it’s not a christmas song omgggg it’s from the sound of music people just turned it into a christmas song not everything is christmas skmgbwbsjandj
TheDagger456 32 Musicians often sample sound bites from songs and base the beat around it. Whether it be dialogue, a familiar riff or string of synth... This was however, an interesting choice on Ariana’s part. But I like it!
CRY BABY 😂😂 honestly tho!! Besides don’t most rappers do that anyways, just brag about how much money or ass their getting?? She’s proud to be successful, what’s wrong with that?
Well it is her life right? So she basically can do anything besides the criticism because people will never shut up and will keep telling her how to live for some reason when she's alredy fine doing her own thing.
She's been praising herself a bit lately because she really does need to give herself some, people can often forget about their own achievements, I like that she's stepping back to have more fun with the songs.
Tristan: "im sure there's some sort of hidden meaning here that im not getting" Me being an Arianator: "BRUH there isnt a hidden meaning, she's just saying she can buy anything she wants cuz she rich"
FOR ME, the song basically talks about how its time for women to not feel apologetic about liking and buying things for themselves that make them happy, to prioritize their needs. It's really powerful in a way.
@@dee5635 many a times it's patriarchy that makes women feel bad for spending on themselves. Case in point, the misogynistic article written on Priyanka Chopra when she married Nick Jonas, where the writer went on and on about how she spends ridiculous amount of money on her things. Anyway, it's just my opinion.
I agree and disagree at the same time. Sure, about 10% of this song has a good meaning to it, but the rest is just adding to the already out of control objectiveness of our modern society. Don't get me wrong though, this song is a bop.
