jude Tristan explains it better (8:13) But I’m certain that if she wanted to be on key she could, it’s the fact she’s going quickly into her head voice and doing many runs and vibratos which are obviously the changes of your pitch and depict the change of your key. Take Miley Cyrus for example, she is purposefully changing keys and pitch’s because that’s how she showcases her singing, her style let’s say. Honestly most people won’t notice those kind of things as the singers general voice is beautiful.

It was her adopted father (a former US military) who abused her by making her work like a slave cleaning animal stalls and the yard from 3 or 4 am and if he didn't like her work, she can't have breakfast and no shower before she goes to school. They moved to the US in her early teens and to escape from them she enlisted in the navy. She actually considers her navy team her family. So no, she was abused not in the military but at "home."
