@Chi Non After having a vocal coach. She could not have done the movie and part versus Jennifer Hudson. Still vocally no where near as impressive as J Hud and Jill Scott.
@@SEvelynJackson Depends on the criteria youre judging. She cant belt as high or as powerfully as J Hud, but she sings with greater versatility, better overall technique, pitch accuracy, vibrato, far greater agility, volume control, elasticity between registers and an overall greater supported range. The laymans or average joes are always impressed by the obvious vocal qualities (e.g power and high notes) and overlook key components behind the sound production and delivery.

This is a very powerful song, it’s always been in my uplifting playlist. It pulls me up and reminds me that I’m worthy and my life and my actions matter. Being a firefighter and a mental health advocate I feel a strong connection. As well as being grateful and thankful for those out there in the world that fight for others. With regards to her doing crescendo to decrescendo back to back, it's kind of her thing, I would say it's one of the things where she excels vocally. She's one of the few technical singers in the main stream. I suggest to react to her live performance of Dangerously In Love from The Beyoncé Experience concert. I love your vid. 🔥

If you get the chance to listen to Janice Freeman’s (Contestant on The Voice) live version of this song it’s SO moving. It was shortly before her passing where she ministers about her pain and wanting to leave her mark then provides an emotionally raw version of this song x

Many people discredit her a lot but even if you remove the "queen" title from her she's a top teir vocalist. She knows her placement, her range, her entrance, her exits, her runs, rifts. She's always aware of her voice.
