I like your reaction but as a fandom we recognize that BTs does insanely intense choreography so them using backing vocals is not an issue. We know they're great singers but they're also performers and dancers and holding notes is difficult while you're intoxicated by adrenaline 💜

the reason bts use backing vocals is because they also dance while singing. they never fully lip sync but the support is necessary, especially when they’re doing a dance choreography And multiple performances

Jimin always sings with full emotions like god I listened to this like thousand times & still get chills all over my body.

The reason I think jimins voice is so pleasing is that he has this edge to his voice where he doesnt sing softly all the time, he can switch to intense and that creates an emotion and provokes interest in the listener. Dear Mister Adam. I said it once & I’ll say it again. I’m a dancer, you can trust my words. It’s impossible to dance BTS‘ choreographies & sing without stabilizing background vocals. Their heavy breathing in the parts where they don’t sing or rap would bug the listener. Dance is SPORT. Sport comes with heavy breathing and panting. It’s a WONDER that BTS can sing LIVE AND sound good despite having choreos THAT hard. Jimin doesn’t lipsync. Nor does any of them. Sometimes the backing vocals just overpower their live vocals and that’s totally okey because especially Jimin dances with a such an energy it would be impossible for others to still sing if they danced the way Jimin does. Please stop repeating yourself, so I can stop repeating myself.

Adam, I don't know if you will see this, but the backtrack is indeed necessary. I don't know if you are aware, but this song was actually right after they performed a song with intense choreography, where they already exerted so much energy. That's why they look a bit sweaty and disheveled to say the least! Also this song was towards the end of their over two hour concert! So having a backtrack is just to make sure their vocals are bit fuller sounding if and when needed! They are only human and it's amazing any breath comes out at all considering all the choreography they've done before even performing this song!! BTS barely takes breaks during their quite long concerts and even when they do it basically to change wardrobe redo hair makeup so they look as refreshed as possible to continue on at this unbelievable grueling pace!!!

For this song, there is some other live where Jimin's voice is more stable ofcause for Jin also.

Also another thing I like how you mentioned jimin and jungkook's voice sound together, they sound really good. In general Jungkook is the one that does most harmonisations and he even harmonises with rappers since he is able to keep up with pace and pitch easily. He does it live as well. And with vocals, Jungkook can adapt his voice to fit a certain sound. Cause Jungkook and tae or Jungkook and Jin together sound really good too.

I really wish you would react to some of Jin’s songs since you’ve reacted to all of the vocalists except him. You seem to comment less about him in the majority of your videos but I know if you listen to his solos you’d be impressed, or at least see what he’s capable of. He has 2 solos: Awake and Epiphany which are amazing. He does a really awesome high note in the Bts song Crystal Snow. :)

You should listen to Jungkook singing All of My Life, it is just him and a camera no studio production and you get to hear how amazing his voice really is . There is also a short clip of V and JK harmonizing that’s really really amazing .

I would like to inform you that this live performance was after a set of hard chore choreographed performances. Amazing that they were able to do all this and still manage to blow our breathes away

I just wanna say I love Jimin and Jungkook when they sing together a lot too! Their voices just meld so well together it’s no wonder early on they were often the main vocals because they sang the most lines together. Esp in this track it works really extra well.

React to the truth untold! It is another really good song that showcases more of their live vocals! There is little to no play back on the song! Loved this reaction! I do agree that they should perform more songs like this instead of intense choreographies, but I love both!

The vocal line _does_ need to trust their vocals more! Rapline has never been insecure in that, because of their background and because of the rooted attitude of Hiphop itself they ascribe to... but vocal line know they are still improving and they sometimes worry about their voices, I guess. I agree. I love both sides... But I'd appreciate more songs like this coming forward. They've all improved sooo much as vocalists, but they have such intense magnifying glasses on them, that I fear they are even more afraid of making mistakes than ever before. They've acknowledged that they battle for a balance between wanting to hide their imperfections and being authentic. Being storytellers first, or being role models of Love Yourself first. We don't know where on that line they will land or how they'll interpret it, but I hope they know we support them like family. We want them to turn up their mics loud over the backing track, we love their voices and the spontaneous choices they make each performance.

Thanks Adam for another reaction on BTS. A few points to remember: BTS has over 200 song, out of which they perform 25 to 30 of them on a said concert day. They create a concert carefully with a mixed bag of songs like these (ballad based) as well as songs that are choreographed. They put on a show unlike anyone I have ever seen (perhaps the best), and mind you I have been to a lot of concerts - and of various artists! BTS concerts have a balance with concepts that always fit their theme for a particular era that is captivating. I can see why Adam is saying BTS should do this more singing pieces, because they are good and one cannot deny it, but the fact is that they do and they have been doing it for over 6 years. It can be hard to gauge what they do just by watching one performance of an event, imo. I do not need them to prove it to me anymore. Another thing is that people like Adam, who are new to BTS, are only seeing a few performances from RU-vid. Their majority of content is not available on RU-vid and the ones available are not in the best quality (fancams), barring a few DVD quality like this one. I have so many DVDs as well as live in-audience experiences that prove that they do and they do not need to change what they have been doing so well and what has got them to the stature they are in right now. Anyways, I am not saying this with any negativity, it is just that when you say "someone tell them that they need to do more of these" i kind of sigh... It is hard to explain, lol, nevertheless thank you for your time in reacting. If nothing else, I do pick up on more of BTS singing techniques from watching you!
