This song is about a story of a man that thought he was so ugly he hid himself in a castle for many years, the only thing he loved to do was to grow flowers in his garden. One day he saw a woman steal flowers from his garden, the man found out that the woman was selling the flowers to make a living and he wanted to help her. He decided to grow and make a very beautiful and expensive flower. When he finally finished making the flower she didn't come. Later the man found out the woman that stole his flowers and heart had passed away. He never confessed he liked her because of his appearance "But I still want you..."
4 of them have really distinct voices! I love that! Thats what i like the most for BTS vocal line! And they always sing it passionately. I always can can feel their emotion. Thats what singer actually need the most. Let the listeners feel the emotion that want to be conveyed.

And one day she died and stopped coming... thats why it ends saying "But I still want you" I forgot to add that if you watch the Fake Love Extended version, its kinda like this song The flower of Smeraldo's flower (if you don't know the short legend look it up The Legend of Smeraldo) , in the other version of the in the extended version of fake love Jin was trying to protect the flower in that vase looking thing when the wind blew everything in the room, the part where Junkook reached for the sand that he let go into flower petals tells just how smeraldo grew a flower he would never be able to give to the girl, the ending with the masks in the Extended version represents the mask Smeraldo wore because he went through so much abuse he thought he was ugly so its unsure if he was truly hideous but he believed himself he was. So in Fake Love at the the end of the Extended version Jungkook joins the other members and puts on a mask like Smeraldo did

Trying to help her, he grows a special flower, the smeraldo, so that she can earn more money from it, but the woman dies before she is able to see it or meet the man. 전하지 못한 진심, translates to “sincerity that couldn’t be delivered.” It references the smeraldo flower, a fictitious flower that BTS has been associated with on more than one occasion. Similar to how different flowers can mean different things, the smeraldo means “the truth I couldn’t tell,” according to the only flower shop that claims to sell it.
A rapper of BTS wrote these lyrics(RM) for the vocalists to sing... It is related to an Italian folk tale about a flower called the Smeraldo, I believe? The edit: The Italian folklore bit was fake. A blog popped up before this album's release. In it, a person claimed to be starting a florist's shop that would exclusively sell this beautiful flower called "smeraldo" that she learnt about during a stay in America. The flower was "thought to not exist" but only be part of "an old Italian tale" called 'la citta di smeraldo' (I think). The blogger then goes on to tell this "old Italian tale" about an ugly man who lived in a garden, a down-trodden thief who stole his flowers to sell, the way the man grew to wait for/anticipate the thief's nightly return and grew the most beautiful flower he could - the smeraldo - so that the thief could sell it and be better off. But the thief never returns, and the ugly man never had a chance to set things right. So before this album's release, Jin posts a photo on twitter with a bouquet of beautiful blue flowers and the word "smeraldo". Fans find this blog, but then find out that there is no florist's shop, 'la citta di smeraldo' translates to the Emerald City and brings up Wizard of Oz pages on Google, and some of the handwriting looks really similar to Jin's. There is other stuff too, but I'm not getting into it. Basically BTS and their company like toying with fans. i love the fact that she doesn't have to lie and pretend that she likes them just bc of how big they are, but bc she's as well a profesional and gives her sincere opinion about the vocals and the song itself.
I think you should react to BTS V's stigma you'd be blown away with the high notes especially during his live performances. The fact that he naturally has a deep voice and hits such beautiful high notes is amazing
There's a story called, 'La Città di smeraldo' that takes place in a small town in Italy in the 1500s-1600s. The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden. One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell a sleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter. Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to make the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had died.

Have any of you noticed how Jin’s singing has improved. They are all good at what they do but I think Jin has improved the most of all 7. His vocals are stronger and clearer. He seems to get better at each concert. He is quickly surpassing all the other singers in the group. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💥General

the reason why their tones become stronger at the end starting with jin, it's because in the beginning of the song, it was when the girl kept visiting the garden. the silence after jungkook was when the girl stopped visiting the garden. and towards the end, jin's voice became stronger "if only i took off my mask would everything be different now?" it's when he found out the girl had died they were too late

You seem to like Kim Taehyung's voice (1 verse in this), so you should most definitely listen to "SINGULARITY" which is one of his solos. "Stigma" is another one.
thank you for reacting to this song!! i don't know if anyone has recommended this one yet but could you please react to stigma by bts? it's taehyung's (V's) solo song and he was only known for his low notes but i believe he sings the entire chorus in falsetto in stigma i think he has an incredible vocal range

React to Lie, Serendipity, Singularity or Stigma. All amazing vocals. First two highlight higher ranges (Jimin), and V shows off his deeper voice in the latter two. :D
Even if you can't understand, just listening to their voices and their harmony...☺. Yes, V has the widest vocal range among the vocal line in BTS from deep to head voice. I think you'll like his Singularity solo. Jimin has the highest and I think you already reacted to their Let Me Know live where he did that really high note at the end. Jungkook is the most stable and he also does high notes. You can see this in Born Singer live and you can see his voice style in his solo Begin. Jin I think is more of a nasal high head voice and he can also belt out high notes, as seen especially in Crystal Snow live, where he belted out triple high notes at the end. I was so proud of him because he didn't really have any background in singing and dancing, he just wanted to act. He was about 20 (he was the oldest in the group) when he really took to singing, which is old tbh, I know most start young, but he practised really hard since debut.
As from other songs of vocal line there are House of cards and Lost but they also have solo songs jungkook's begin, jimin's lie, taehung's stigma and jin's awake if you're interested
