Her amazing singing and this soulfully rich performance never fails to bring tears ! Bravo, bravo and major kudos to Miss Erivo and Ms Harriet Tubman , our true shero!!!
From the first time I heard it, it was beautiful. The lyrics were so perfect that I had a real grasp of Harriet Tubman’s escape - across land through day and night, a lone woman, a slave running for her freedom, not knowing who would be friend or foe. It has never lost that initial punch. The back ground vocals are strong. Cynthia Erivo is a gem.

Cynthia's and Janelle Monae's performances were there best. Janelle's was the best opening the Oscar's had in years in my opinion and the excitement was amazing. But, Cynthia had the more beautiful and idk just they were the best in their own ways.
