I am a professional singer and singing teacher myself, and never before have I experienced anything like this - since I discovered Dimash a few months ago, there has been a fulfillment on all levels... not only vocally, but also musically, and humanly... Yes, he is so good, so incredibly good that it almost hurts, you don't know where to put these feelings anymore! Yes, and the whole world should know him, and celebrate him, and experience his modesty and love, which he gives in all his concerts...Well, but the music "business" is different...and if someone (fortunately!) is not willing to give up some of his artistic and general freedom... then he won't be published...but - I'm sure this will come...every day the Dears fan base is getting bigger...the most important thing is to keep it the way he needs it in his environment - this special gift needs its own laws to keep his source pure. Because this is not a "singing technique" - it is a very deep opening that allows him to be a channel. So, we are happy to hear and see him... Best wishes from Germany!

Best reaction so far! This is how I feel when I hear him. I almost get upset when I see people react to him and they are just sitting there like “oh his voice is so pretty. Oh, Tara. Dimash would soooo appreciate you saying "this is the kind of music our kids should be listening to". In one of his videos (I think it was at the end of Sinful Passion), he mentioned something about the revival of and appreciation for beautiful music. I love that you can see the emotional investment and commitment he displays when he sings. One of the things I've noticed is that the more love and appreciation he elicits from the audience, the more energetic and dynamic his performance is. Someone mentioned that his voice kinda vibrates through your body even if you're just watching him onscreen. To answer your question of how he's not more popular, I can only speak from my own experience: Your heart needs to be open for his voice to have any impact on you. In the middle of what the world is dealing with and my own personal problems, Dimash is a beacon of love, light, and hope. Please stay safe and healthy. Much love from South Africa. PS. music industry in US isn't ready for someone like him. Lots of singers, especially male ones, will feel uncomfortable. He had offers to work with some big music and song writers. But the terms weren't acceptable for him. He won't sell his soul for some glory in the west. He is gonna have his path. I saw him live in Riga, Latvia, 1 day before he performed this in the Kremlin in Russia. He sang for 2.5 hours and his level of performance never wavered from his 1st note to his last. To be there, was spine-chilling and he is imo not only the best vocalist on the planet but a once in a lifetime artist, a prodigy. Everyone who has not seen him live, move heaven and earth to do it. It's a crime he is not a mega-superstar globally, it really is.

However, music moguls would try to make him something he is not. He was already roasted on American TV for being true to his customs and beliefs, AND his contract had already made stipulations that were completely ignored (him competing with anybody under the age of 18. In Kazakhstan it is customary for adults to always allow children to let their talents and gifts to shine, rather than adults “showing them up.” I would dearly love for him to tour in the USA, but sticking with Igor Krutoy and musicians of the same caliber, seems like a better fit. However I am a visual artist and not a musician 😂 You’re definitely right, in the fact that it is absolutely unfathomable that more Americans do not know who he is. ❤️

Loved your reaction. Yes....he is legendary. At 25 There is no comparison in the world that I know of. It's not just his range and mastery of the notes....it's him. His complete investment mentally, emotionally, physically and creatively. It is his soul that comes through. No one can duplicate that or teach it. Dimash is gifted genetically as well. He is beautiful to look at and magnetic to watch. His vocal capabilities I believe are a gift that he has honed and fine tuned through total dedication and hard work. One of his best performances ; he is getting better n better now that he is developing his "low range" , right age to for him . Before it was kinda a "limit" . So nice and genuine reaction ! Yet , if 10 ppl would study and practice all kind of singing styles with complete abnegation like he did , who knows . Btw he is the best voice of ALL times .

👑🌹 Love your reaction and comments 💐 To be fair to Dimash, he is a product of immense raw talent polished to a high degree by top level master teachers, years and YEARS of training (such as vocals, swimming that built his lung capacity) and a single minded focus. He also had an early headstart thanks to musician parents (mom's an opera soprano, dad is an established singer & composer) and he was brought up by grandparents who sacrificed to make sure he went to music school. And he totally knows all this, which is why he always credits them for what he is today. I kinda suspect he has near-OCD level mindset when it comes to his music too. That helps 😅

Dimash already fills huge stadiums in Kazakhstan and Russia, and tours the world. He clearly has a strong sense of belonging in his native cultural context. He visits poor children isolated by corona, plays with them while wearing a cozy wool sweater and standing with blue bags over his shoes to avoid spreading dirt on the floors. That impressed me the most really. What a great guy! His artistic ambitions are probably more nuanced than topping the charts. There is no reason to blame wider audience in the west for 'not getting it'. Neither Americans *nor* East Europeans/people in former USSR states are used to reading subtitles. People just prefer to hear their own language. Unless he chooses to really learn to communicate and create in English, he probably won't ever be a household name in the West. Does he even want to? We still get to watch Dimash perform and learn from experts' analysis why he's so d*** good. Besides, I get to show this "obscure guy from Kazakhstan" to my friends and look reaally cultured. I blow them away with 'Samaltau'. No complaints from me!

We love you too Tara! Your opinion is so valuable and we Dears all agree with you that Dimash should be heard more. However the music industry is more about making money than promoting good art. Dimash doesn't have an agent here in the US because he hasn't found anyone who is willing to promote him without limiting his creative freedom. There were producers interested in him but they all want to have control over what and how he can sing. Giving the fact that he is still so young and still improving his craft, chances are one day he will make it big here but it may take some time.

It does not matter that he do not have many views in the west! I don't care that maybe he'll never win a grammy .. It is enough for me that in the East he is appreciated as the great ARTIST he is. It saddens me that many people cannot enjoy it because the music industry promotes the light, the commercial. However, he will transcend time and borders, he will be a jewel that will last forever. Maestro Maestro Igor Krutoy on the piano is the joint composer with Dimash of this song, words by Lara Fabian and the arrangement is by Erlan Bekturin, Dimash's "brother"/ best friend. Backing vocals are Dimash. This was sung at the Kremlin Palace at an event for a famous Russian fashion designer, hence the red suit with gold silk lining. The performance was a gift from Dimash for International Womens Day, and it was between two of his solo world concerts. Dimash is always a very busy boy but his remaining 4 concerts have been postponed until next year because of the covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe everyone

HaHaHa... I see myself in you... great reaction and yes, he is the artist I want my grandchildren to follow. My husband and I went to NYC twice in less than two months 4Q19 to watch him perform {with Maestro Igor then for Dimash’s 1st concert in the US). He sold out his concert in New York last year (its was amazing), but sadly the truth is that almost all his fans (including me) know him thanks to youtube, he is super big in Asia and Russia but i think he needs to launch several english songs (and a great manager team) to break down the American music industry
