I do the same face when I'm into a song apparently. I'm told. I was raised by a professional musician so it's in me blood! I call it the stank face! Because that shit is just so dirty good! I love dua Lipa. Omg did you see her performance I think it was on the Grammys or something I don't remember but legs for days looks like Wonder Woman and sings like no one else I've ever heard Truly.
I like how he gets excited when he hears real talent... I'm like the only person I know that does it too lol... Everyone else hears a song and there like "cool"... Really that's it? No this is exceptional lol
I saw dua live in 2017 at a small venue when she was coming up in America but still low key. She had a cold and she still sounded amazing. She’s only gotten better over the years and I can’t wait to be able to see her live again hopefully soon cuz the show I went to, she only had her first album out & nothing else😭 now she has a whole other album and a bunch of collabs and singles. Love her
Dua Lipa will go a looooong way coz her voice is pretty unique. Somewhat like Tony Braxton's but can definitely hit higher notes and can do either upbeat and love songs very well. I love her.
She’s one of the few dark, minor type singers I actually love. I tend to not like minor songs UNLESS like The Sound of Silence by Disturbed, it’s haunting. But Dua Lipa is one of the few that hooks me every single time.
Tristan thank you for your secrets! On my hardest days dealing with a liver disease and chronic pain thanks so much making me smile! On some of my tougher days!💙👍👍
it’s kinda irritating when the video first comes out, and all the comments are REACT TO THIS, CAN YOU REACT TO SOMETHING. like y’all... watch the video first 😭
I honestly love your videos so much, you tell us what they do to achieve certain notes and sounds, you make very involving, intresting, and informative content! Thx for creating content that is entertaining and is helpful! (Ik i sound like a basic b!tch by saying tHx FoR mAkInG cOnTeNt but honestly your awesome so thx)
I believe that cassette tape is a recorder. Pretty sure because I used to have one to be able to record songs off of the radio in the '90s. Yeah. Good old days
I love Dua Lipa’s control of her voice. She knows that she can’t hit Ariana Grandesque high notes and she doesn’t try to! She has a sultry, raspy voice and I love that.
I hope following Dua there will be an emergence of females using their lower register more often lol, cuz as a female with a low voice I wanna be able to sing popular songs on the radio lol
@@edwinurco854 all fine.. I know that she has Albanian roots.. is not fully wrong... and please, stop being dramatic about it. Is not a big deal from where she‘s really from, enjoy her music and how talented she is... people need to stop get so offended with all little things.
I’ve followed her for a while. While everyone is talking about how dramatically her stage presence has improved (which it has... this is how you take criticism and run with it), her voice has always been good. But I’m sure she got more lessons before this last album release because I’ve noticed her voice is doing more of these flips and tricks. She’s always had this thing she does when she hits higher notes where her voice kind of squeaks/cracks at the end... you can hear it in “Be The One” towards the end and a lot on “Cool” with the newest album. It’s almost like the shout thing you were talking about.
I hate the fact that people didn't know how good she was until last year. Her voice is so unique and I don't know why she hasn't been recognized earlier.
I know. When I heard her on the radio with new rules, then looking her up not knowing what she looked like. Absolutely stunning. I was surprised, her voice is so powerful, so rich. Just beautiful! I'm ready for more from my fav.
I've been following her career since Apr. 2016. First time I heard 'Be The One', I thought she was destined for greatness. Tried telling all my friends about her. Most didn't see it then, but they do now.
When I listen to her sing, I think of melted dark chocolate. I don't know how else to explain what her voice sounds like. It's so rich and full and almost jarring to hear (in a good way) because she's so in control of her tone and raspiness.
Dua lipa doesn't usually sign super high notes in comparison to other pop singers which I like about her because it makes it easier for me to sing her songs😂
Dua lipa's tone is literally amazing and the way she can handle her rasp. And those voice cracks. I love it. Honestly. I got into dua lipa after levitating. After her grammy performance and i saw this performance which made me love her even more. And her talking voice is so wow.
@@ThePolypam Well, it depends on the type of music. She's know as a pop/dance music singer, so there's a bit of an expectation that she move some on stage. She doesn't have to do full on choreo like Beyonce or Brittany, but at least make me believe that your music makes you want to move too. The more dancers you have on stage, the less you have to do it, but you've gotta move some, or have a surrogate like Sia does
I dont knkw how true this is but I read somewhere that singers are taught to sing without an accent and it sounds similar to an american accent but isnt quite. It was just a post on tumblr so again I dont knkw how true that is
@@cryingeyebrows2773 I agree, I hear “no accent” when most people since but maybe it’s because we don’t hear our own accent (and I’m American). I wonder if British people think it sounds American while singing
