"The falsetto was a little bit on the weak side" That was a rookie era clip. Please watch Chen singing May We Bye with Onestar/Im Han Byul to see how good he is now, in 2019, all around. :) Hehe that song makes us proud. There's an MV but there's also a live vocals version where the instrumentals go to one side of the headset and the vocals go to the other side (kind of like karaoke). The former is beautiful, but the latter is close up so you can see the face and neck better. Chen only started his solo career this April because he said he wanted to be ready, and some of the performances referenced here (like the duet of Really I Didn't Know with Baekhyun and the strings) he actually said he feels a little embarrassed about because he doesn't think he did well. They've worked hard even after they already became singers. Im Han Byul, the singer he sings with in the video I suggested is his and Baekhyun's vocal coach. Right now, Baekhyun still attends vocal lessons 4x a week.

finally someone pointed out that they're off in the first live version of open arms. but i'm all about that character development, that clip was from 2013 and they've come a long way after that. i think exo are the best vocalists.

omg!! EXO's vocals are just incredible

I really like that you actually point out their straining and flat notes at times! That's one of the reasons I don't like that video as much as others that are longer but do a better job of showcasing all the members' voices. It's a little too much of all these high notes by the main vocalists regardless of how well-done the note sounds. But this video blew up when the person uploaded it and fans have been requesting it constantly ever since!

EXO are amaizing vocalists, some of these are since they debuted, they changed a lot, they don't adjust, it's just the way they sound amaizing. Everyone is amaized by their voices(vocal coaches and classical musicians, there is a youtube channel when they meet many classical musicians and they listen many kpop songs and they say their professional opinion, always EXO is on top).

Most of the clips here are old and yet when we wish they were updated some people come for us to say that we're unappreciative of the video maker. But this is why we wish clips were periodically updated, because it doesn't show where they are NOW. We're thankful for the people that made them of course. The most recent clip in this video was 2016 or early 2017, everything else was 2012 (debut)-2014. Was there a 2015 clip here? I don't think there was, probably because they didn't promote a lot that year.
