@@tsfbaf303Ok I'll answer the question. Because the coaches are competing with each other and they know some artists choose whoever turned first. Also some of the other countries' shows go based off diction of English, as well as song choice because those genres are not as well known or oversung in those countries so it shows a uniqueness.
I was already dying watching that part, but reading it in the comments just took it to a whole notha level 😂 like the way you described that so perfectly 😂
Well different people have different opinions even as vocal coaches.. But of course at least vocal coaches would actually chose only those who can sing.
The reason that they keep turning for the older people in the voice of Holland was because it's the senior version. In the Netherlands we have the kids, adult and senior voice
kex4me I’m mad because Khufu is a vocal coach and she Ad-libs on peoples auditions at times, mainly in the UK. So I’m confused as to why he said “why is she singing over the contestant, it’s not about her”. True it’s not about her but she’s a coach repeating someone’s style of what they sound like so if they choose her it’s Easier for her to help the artist. He claims to be a a vocal coach but yet I know more than him clearly in this situation. After that I cut the video off because that annoyed me and it’s seems like a lot of other people.
The woman they turned around for at 3:30 is from the voice senior, that’s a new concept so only like 50+ people can compete. I think that if it was the normal voice they wouldn’t have turned so fast. Same with the woman from 7:30
No, they definitely would have turned the grit in her voice and the music style she chose went together in fact the original song sounds quite similar.
Okay I just have to come and explain, the woman at 3.20 is actually participating in the voice of holland senior version. So the purpose wasn't nesseceraly to find a marketable voice. Same for the woman at 7.40. Just to take away some confusion :)
I’ve had vocal classes and I swear vocal coaches judge everything on how well you can sing high which is pretty foolish since real music is about the story in the song and how the tone matches the story, not about omg you can sing really high. Most of the greatest songs in history don’t have a single high range note in them but modern pop has created an illusion that all music needs that high range and so people like vocal coaches are focusing on that when they are completely missing the actual talent in the tone. Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Andy Black, Foo Fighters and British India all sing with out it or only use it on rare occasions not to mention FOB that were told couldn’t sing high but did anyway and did it their own way
Tristan: "Why would you turn that fast? You don't know if they're gonna screw up." Also Tristan a little while later, after less then a second in an audition: "Ohh I would've turned for that immediately"
The 3 girls are called 0G3NE. They are 3 sisters and the redhead only has one lung. They have two amazing covers of Clown and Sing and in Sing they have made their own singing technique called echoing. Really a must to check them out!
@@violettedejenlis1716 Yes... In Germany the first season of the Voice senior will start I think at the end of this year.... I guess the Netherlands already had a season since it is the founder of these shows.
@@UnearthCreations agreed. Opera is a good example, amazing projection and complete control over every aspect. It takes years to get there and no mic needed, just good room acoustics! Heck even Mongolian singing...that is talent and skill. Master your craft and skills in all forms, test different things around it. And never stop improving. I honestly can see the future looking bad for music and classical styles and teachings dying out nearly completely...same with classical music. It's so sad really, and all that history
He should start classifying himself as a pop vocal coach, or how to sound like somebody else. His whole craft is derived off of his journey to sound like Justin Bieber.
She's part of a band called "Noble" located in the Netherlands. I think their website is nobleband.nl or something like that... Just search up: Noble The Voice Senior: In the comments there's a comment by her daughter saying more detail about them/her.
A lot of those clips were from The voice of Holland Senior. They're specifically listening to a pool of older people so I guess if you look at it from that perspective it's not that surprising they turned at some of them.
Well, I dont think alot of these people sounded uniqe. And some of them werent good at all. There where some I really liked but they didnt turn as fast as for the ones I thought werent that good. In my country they also choose more bad singers than really good ones.
I liked most of the singers except for the one who was obviously bad but I personally would definitely listen to every other singer on a daily basis because they were unique and he was looking for marketable people he wasn’t paying attention to the unique voices because some of the ones he said he didn’t understand were very unique.
it's not rigged though. It's not 100% as seen but doesn't mean it's rigged. And the coaches do "coach" but know that it isn't hours long of seasons. It's one day for a little bit of time.
Gabzo Avro no the coaches don’t actually coach tho, they are told what to say on camera in the clips they show but there actual other behind the scene that are the real coaches. And if most definitely is rigged, it’s show formulated to have a plot so people watch it. Ever wonder why there aren’t singers in the industry that came from the Voice the way Kelly Clarkson came from American Idol? Exactly
Ara Hi I don’t know if they know they’re gonna turn or not or how that works I never said anything about that but it is a possibility because many aspects of the show are very obviously rigged
1. Why isnt Jennie Lena in this video. They turned so fast for her and she opens up in an amazing way. Jennie Lena Audition The Voice. 2. In holland we have The Voice Senior and that’s why they turned for those strange old people
That's not true. Yes, they audition beforehand but not in front of the coaches. They audition in front of some different judges, so there is no possible way a bad singer is coming up to make fun of. The coaches don't know who will audition, but they will know for sure there won't be any really bad singers.
@@thenoisyhufflepuff5425 In my country, the contestants actually have to sign a contract with the judges that they pick before the blind audition.. (and you have to be fast because there's a limit) so yeah.. the contestants already knew who they gonna pick lol
@@endahpuspita5165 oh really? That's not really fair tho.. we don't have that here. The judges just know that there won't be really bad singers, the rest is still a secret for the judges
The coaches don’t know who is coming up. Yes, contestants do have to audition before they actually go on the show but those judges are not the coaches. I know this because I was thinking of auditioning and in the form you fill out it gives you this information. Not trying to be hateful or anything. Just trying to help.
They do have to audition beforehand -- that, by the way, is one reason why "they might be really bad on the high notes" is a poor criticism; they wouldn't have made it to the coaches if that were the case -- but it's also very much a blind audition. You see, there are more than 4 people working for any one edition of _The Voice_ , so the auditions can be done by people who aren't any of the 4 coaches. I would advise to stay far away from Conspiracy Theories. They aren't good for your health.
The auditions with the elderly is from a version of the voice called "the Voice Senior". They turn a little faster because it's just cool for an older person to sing like that
@@agan4837 She is called Maan. If you search Maan + the voice you will find everything from her. She now mostly sings in Dutch (which is in our Dutch opinion hard, because of the hard sounds).
Note: Adam usually will either turn VERY fast or not at all. He tends to know very quickly if someone is who he seeks. The unique side of "The Voice" is that they narrow down quickly but also will work with the individual in order to see what they are capable of and also help them find where they are best suited. Sometimes people will surprise. Also, they aren't entirely looking for something marketable, they are looking for someone who will win honestly.
the reason they turned for the older woman that you said didn’t have a very commercial marketable voice is because she sounded a lot or had the sort of vibe amy winehouse had
You also have to think about the moment in the auditions they already are in. I mean, if its more at the end, there is less chance of them turning because they only are allowed so many people. If its earlier there is a higher chance of them turning, especially of you're really good
Tristan it's a TV show. The point is to generate ad revenue for the network. The coaches are probably directed by producers to respond to contestants who will be "interesting." I'm sure the producers know something about the contestants before they perform for the coaches.
they do, to get onto the live shows these people have to audition a couple of times in front of the producers and there's usually an interview process where they ask about your struggles, which is why a lot of the contestants who get lots of air time have a sad story
3:45 in the netherlands we like created the voice. And now we have the voice, the voice kids, and the voice senior. She was on the voice senior. and she won. And then, the voice is about to find a next voice. Like the next new big thing. The best singer. And she was pretty great. I get that it al looks weird. But the video's of the voice of holland that you used where they turned so fast, they all got to the final. A lot of them also won the voice
@@swagmaster2626 mate hes right they are turning when they disnt even hear the song they just heard despacito and boom One guy sang super good but no one turned because they didnt know the song
Some of them aren't worth turning so damn fast but some are SO good that deserve the fast turn but some of them are good but (like he said) if they start with a high note and nicely then he would have Turned fastly too but if they start just souding good with normal notes then he would have waited some more seconds
Only about 1/4 of the contestants make it to the lives so what is happening is that the teams are getting a bunch of fodder and then being picky later.
Like honestly...I agree with Tristan with the Bieber statement 😂 Bieber music has me some kinda way....I don’t even really like him? But his music 👌🏻👌🏻
The reason is because they are looking for specific voices with specific sounds, cause the judges also play a roll in helping the contestants during performances once the contestant chooses a judge to lead them. Even if the contestant needs some work the judge might think they could help better the contestants vocals and provide tips and strategies. All the judges are only allowed to have a specific number of contestants to lead and coach and missing out on a good voice to have on their side could be a bad thing.
The voice judges will just turn for the voices that they like and think they can work with. Even if the technique is bad, you get vocal training while you're on the show (Also in the audition process before the show... sooo...)
Tristan is a vocal coach, He knows what he knows what he could work with, i honestly think Tristan has the upper hand because these "coaches" are mostly trained by vocal coach themselves
@@velky_reeds honestly I think tristan would be a better coach than all of the people you see on TV. 100% Lol the coaches don't even train then, they get singing teachers in
They turn for what I call "fillers", meaning people who you know are not going to win and aren't going to be any type of real competition so the good ones really shine.
The thing about the voice is the judges turn for what they want to hear so when they hear what they want they know they can utilise their skills to help their singers succeed
It’s so funny how he’s like saying NOPEEEEE I WHY TURN FAST YOU GOTTA HEAR THEM FIRST.... 10seconds later..... I WOULD TURN RIGHT AWAY, YOU TOOK SO LONG 😂😂😂😂
