Hey Tristan, would you mind reacting to Ailee? She’s known as one of Korea’s most powerful voices. Her song “I Will Go To You Like The First Snow” is a really emotional but powerful song and she also has a cover of Halo. I recommend watching her sing live, she’s amazing!
I loved how confused he was when jack&jack popped up and I love the fact that he took the time to search them up and hear other performances, because they are actually talented, genius did j&j really dirty lol. Also Jack J is the rapper in the duo, I guess he got really nervous in the interview.
Top Jeremy Zucker Songs- 1. Talk is Overrated 2. All the kids are depressed 3. Icarus Feel free to check out any of these, I think you'd enjoy them all
@@chanelgoldsworthy8789 he is, but he's actually tried to test the waters with singing and he's gotten really good and is confident enough compared to a while ago. He spoke about it in an interview, (Zach Sang I think), how he wants to challenge himself more when it comes to singing😊
Jeremy Zucker is definitely my fave artist he’s so slept on it physically hurts me 😭 my faves of his songs are *better off, comethru, always I’ll care, not ur friend, all the kids are depressed, thinking 2 much* basically all of his songs he’s so talented !!
R1TUALS AND WHEN HE LITERALLY JUST PERFORMED ON THE LATE LATE SHOW I CRIED HE SO DESERVES THE RECOGNITION BUT HE ISNT OUR LITTLE SECRET ANYMOREEEE BUT HES GONNA GET SO BIG I CANT WAIT !!!!!!
the fact that he tried to sound so deep but absolutely effed up is something I can't understand to this day he could just write no one cares abt me around here or something
Anyone else gonna talk about how healthy this man looks ?? I haven’t seen his vids in so long! Your hair growth, complexion, clear skin!! You look so good🥺🥺🥺
if you like jeremy zucker, theres also a super underrated artist named alec benjamin who’s music is a little similar to jeremys if you want to check it out
Tristan: *Watches with face of absolute disgust* Me: Yes, singing very bad Tristan: This is really great! I can't believe I didn't know this guy Me: Yes, singing is amazing
The fact that Tristan literally found Jeremy Zucker through this video, loved his voice, is now actively listening to his voice, and Jeremy's record label claimed the audio of this video, is exactly why record labels will never understand fair use. Jeremy has probably gained a substantial amount of new listeners from this video and UMG still see it as a negative thing.
@@idkmuch7749 ik it's not actually 11 min, but that's the length of the video. My horrid joke wouldn't make sense that way lol. But I agree, he might as well react to just him😂
I mean the bad ones weren't distorted. They were literally sang in a different key and in completely different tones. No way to process to audio to make those changes and still sound like a person singing
The guy with the blonde hair in the duo isn’t a singer. He’s a rapper but for whatever reason he was made to sing. It’s possible but these clips weren’t distorted at all. Some of them just sang at a lower key so it doesn’t sound like the original song.
The other thing to consider is that the genius interviews aren’t just live, there’s no music, and singing without music feels very different than singing live. It’s easier to stay in key when the music is there to remind you what key you’re in. If these people have never sung these songs without music before, it’s not super surprising that they’re struggling with the key / pitch, especially if they aren’t super skilled singers.
The fact is, as a singer, you should at least be able keep your pitch (higher or lower). It's their song, even if their tone sound different. Please at least keep it on the same pitch.
gadman tandian i mean, yes, i agree. Professional singers should know their songs well enough to stay on pitch without music, but that takes practice and based on the way fame works not all of these people are at that level. I’m merely pointing out how the genius interviews are different than any other live performance because there’s no music. It doesn’t excuse their inability to do it, it just makes sense of the fact that they struggled without music and yet seem to be able to carry the tune ok in other live performances
it's hard, but take as an example Billie Eilish, she nails it acappela. I don't think singing without music is an excuse to sing bad or completely different.
literally all of jeremy zucker’s songs are top tier. especially better off, all the kids are depressed, talk is overrated, always i’ll care, not ur friend and julia. he just released a new song today called supercuts and it’s already one of my personal favourites. love that guy 🥺❤️
Jack J he's a rapper who's uncomfortable with singing his friend however sings in the duo Jack and Jack. Jack G(his best friend) his pitch is not all over the place which is why Jack J's pitch is everywhere.
Jermy zucker: 1.better off 2. you were good to me 3.not ur friend 4.julia 5.comethru 6.all the kids are depressed 7. Ghosts 8.Just listen all his songs, they are all amazing!
He addressed that, he has a amazing voice he just isn’t comfortable using it. He doesn’t just rap. Just cause he doesn’t perform like that for everyone doesn’t mean he doesn’t do it.
@@monsebacio8603 she's doing great tbh lol or so it seems to me. Everyone just likes to hate on her .. its pretty sad I don't get it I love Gabbie🤷🏼♀️💗
johnson's preferably more of rapper lmao he brings out the singing once in a while, but i'm pretty that the genius interview was just a bad day. yea, don't think singing is something he tries hard for. gilinsky can sing, he just didn't try in the interview. lots of artists come on genius either going full out or just not trying
3:29 , he is normally a rapper, in his songs he raps, with his duo partner, jack gilinsky. hes v self-conscious about his voice, he never usually sings. his singing has improved massively since then. theyre called jack and jack btw.
here's my theory. they don't get given the beginning notes during the interview so, if they're not musically experienced, they end up in completely different keys and in different parts of their voices
wait stop it took jack j so much courage to actually sing in that song let alone that genius interview. i promise he was just super nervous. they’re both super super SUPER talented irl i swear!
Jeremy Zucker's Comethru is one of my healing processes. Thanks to BTS Jimin, he recommended me this song. He always does this music listening live where he plays a lot of new artists songs. Jeremy is a gem.
jeremy zucker has so many great songs like “you were good to me”, “all the kids are depressed”, “comethru”, “not your friend”, “better off”, “scared”, “talk is overrated” etc
One of the important things to realise about the Genius interviews is that it's about breaking down the lyrics more so than the actual vocal performance, so a lot of artists will just very casually sing/rap rather than trying very hard.
So what it looks like is genius isn’t giving them any context at all. They are just supposed to remember exactly what key there song is in. Which isn’t really something that happens. Sometimes it does, but usually it’s nice to have a starting page or in open court or to hear at least a second of the song so that you can make sure you’re seeing the right key .
I think the issue with genius is that its acapella. People have a harder time with it when they aren't strong singers and without music in the background I think they get nervous and less confident to commit to it. I think that's what happened with the Jack&Jack guys. Because it seems like their decent singers but not fully confident
I know I’m not a singer or anything but when I sing along to songs I’m super confident and like my singing but when there’s a karaoke version or something like that, I’m completely insecure and think it’s sounds bad ( which it does but that’s not the point😅)
@@hannahhh006 haha im totally with you. By no means am I a singer, but in my car alone with the music up I be belting that shit feeling so confident. But the second the second im in some karaoke situation where my voice can be heard i lose all confidence
That my friend is Jeremy Zucker. He's got a couple of EPs and I think like 2 albums. He recently released his 2nd album like a few months ago. He's criminally underrated. He sings with Chelsea Cutler a lot, who is another underrated singer that you should definitely check out. Plus there are other underrated singers on there such as Zara Larsson, Rina Sawayama, Marina & the Diamonds, and Alessia Cara, that are definitely worth your time to listen to.
Apparently it’s like really intimidating during the interview. Cause everyone is dead silent (obviously) and just full on staring at you which makes it real awkward.
I wonder if these weird interviews are sometimes coming from a lack of clarity on wether or not you’re supposed to SING sing on a genius interview, or if you’re just supposed to talk-sing through the lyrics...sorta as if you were teaching someone the words? I bet after the monster meme blew up the later seems like a safer choice to some.
Jeremy Zucker it's actually just drop a new song today called "supercuts" and an album "love is not dying" thats out on april this year, and it sounds AMAAAZIIIINGGGG
*Gabbie Hanna comes on screen* Tristan: nope. Not today Me: screaming and almost pissing myself. Also me: keep re-watching the same 5 seconds and finding it funnier each time 😂😂
