Hey fahim! This a late comment so you probably won't see it but I just wanted to say thank you for continuing to do Coke Studio/Pakistani music reactions! I really appreciate them since most vocal teachers and experts don't focus on South Asian music and your technical knowledge of music is great to hear! I actually didn't really like this song initially because I don't think Ali Sethi's interpretation of this exquisite song is quite as beautiful and nuanced as the original by Mehdi Hassan. But you made me appreciate it a bit more. But I think if you want to hear another recent interpretation of this song, search for the version on The Dream Journey channel. All of the performances on that channel are from little known Pakistani classical artists, and they all have English subtitles! Another song which people have requested from Come Studio, Aadam, was remade directly from a song on that channel, and the version from the Dream Journey is imo far superior.
