"The Quarterback" episode...oh god ... I only watched this episode twice : when it aired and when the portuguese subtitles were on, and I never watched it again 😭💔 But Glee's version of Keep Holding On is just so emotional 😭♥️

I'm 34 and I say with complete confidence that Glee saved my life and changed the way I look at the world! I've seen it so many times and showed it to so many people who would have never watched it...grown straight men asking me who wins nationals 😂 this show taught me so much and it also broke me when Cory died...I was more upset that Finn and Rachel didn't get their happy ending than I was at my own 12 year relationship ending 😂

Rip Naya and Cory. Their death anniversaries are coming up, ugh. Naya was my favorite celebrity of all time, still have her bday as my phone passcode. Time flies. Hope they’re at peace.

This episode always made me cry. This entire piece made me cry. In the context, it's incredibly touching and their harmony's are beautiful. Yes, this was season 1. Quinn was pregnant and her parents had kicked her out and she lost her part on the cheer squad. All she had now was Glee club. This is the entire Glee club coming together to support her.

Glee has helped me through some dark times, when I'm feeling shitty and down, I go to watch glee, it's my 'happy place'

So I've watched Glee from the very first episode to the very last and it has been a huge part of not just my life but it gave me my voice to be me and love my truth. As a young black boy growing up I was always bullied for being "too feminine" and then later in the season we got introduced to Unique and that was a breakthrough for me. Just watching her journey and her struggles it clicked that I was the same way. I eventually (with the help of my friends) was able to live my truth and transitioned and I literally played this version of this song all the time because it always reminded me to just keep holding on. I don't think the creators of Glee knew at the time that their show what's going to affect so many people in so many ways.

I think this was one of the first episodes I cried to, it wasn’t even because if the storyline just the way they were singing and dancing was so wholesome but sad

I remember I had such an atachment to the Glee characters, especially Finn, back when I first watched it during quarantine 2020 . When I heard about Cory's death I remember feeling a sense of sadness for him but also for Lea and everyone that loved him😞That Quarterback episode had me sobbing in my room at 2am😥

YES love to see some appreciation of cory's vocals from a vocal coach. i really do feel like he's an underappreciated vocalist just because he was surrounded by so many broadway and belter singers, people loved to put down his talent when he was one of the most improved and was one of the few who could pull off the rock/alt songs. she's not there, jessie's girl, hello i love you, not the end, tongue tied, i could go on forever. he's incredible and i love that you're giving his flowers. i wish more people did when he was still here.

Yeah, don’t worry. I’m crying too. And you talking about the things viewers have told you hurts. Glee definitely made such a huge impact on the fandom. I have a hard time watching it now because of cory and naya, but it’s still a comfort show for me. I’m glad that I got into it when it was airing

This is such a classic season one number, I really love it! And totally feel the same about glee being more than just a show. It was a huge part of my life when it came out, and then when I rediscovered it during lockdown when everything felt shit and I just wanted to escape into something that brought me such joy, and then watching you discover it too has made me so happy, plus I find your perspectives and analyses of the music really interesting too ❤

Be warned. You will be sobbing during 'Quarterback'. I have seen it a few times and still can't prevent myself from sobbing. Knowing how difficult it was for the actual actors and that the pain was so real. A very emotional watch.

GLEE has been, and I'm pretty sure, will be, a HUGE part of myself, even if it died for me after "On my Way". But I do cry every single time, I hear some of these songs, for what they made me feel, and what I was going tru, the first time I heard them.

watching this video and seeing your emotion summed up perfectly what made me fall in love with this show, because not only is it a show about a glee club but it battles issues that are real and this show made me the person i am today, it brought me out of my shy little bubble and gave me confidence and it will always hold a special place in my heart

this will ALWAYS be my favorite glee song. even though there are many others that have better/more elaborated performances, vocals and all, this one is just so pure and captures the essence of the show so beautifully that even after finishing all six seasons, it stayed my fav

Pro-tip: You can tell what season you're in by what stage of puberty Kurt is in lol he looks like a baby in the first season and then has a massive glow-up in the later ones.

The show has always calmed me down on a stressful day. It still does now almost as much as it did 8 years ago. Also you’re right about Finns voice. In s1, it wasn’t the best by a long shot. But his improvement was incredible. He hits notes in s3 that never were possible in s1. In my top 10 male glee singers, he makes the 7-9 area.

I didn't actually watch Glee until about 2 years ago. I saw clips of the rest of my family watching it when I was younger, but I never joined them when it was ongoing. I had heard the series was special, but this was when I truly knew that wasn't just talk.

You're not alone in your feelings, Audrey. I loved watching Glee and got so invested in these characters and storylines! Yes, Glee is much more than a show and conveys such important messages. I was sad when Cory past away because he seemed like such a gentle and happy soul! I laughed and cried throughout the show. I loved Finn and was devastated when Cory past away! I was conflicted when they introduced Jesse - I loved the fact that he was basically the male version of Rachel and he could keep up with her, but he was inserting himself in this relationship that had barely had time to get off the ground. In the end, I was kind of rooting for Jesse and Rachel, but also Rachel and Finn, and you could see that while Jesse was conniving, he had a heart and felt something for Rachel. I wanted Rachel and Finn to be endgame, but I am so happy with how things turned out, considering that Rachel and Finn were no longer a possibility without recasting (and I'm so happy that they didn't do that).

Glee changed my life in so many ways. Not only did I get to work on the show and meet the incredible cast that worked on it but it helped myself and my family be more accepting and open. It helped me feel comfortable to eventually come out to my family and I wouldn’t be here without this show. Truly. The cast changed my life when I was with them and through my tv screen! Thank you for bringing it back into my life!

A lot of people poopoo on Glee, and I get it. The last couple seasons were a bit of a mess. But you get it. And outsiders like me get it. Glee was about taking kids who the world forgot and bringing them together to shine. The show absolutely helped me come out. I saw myself on screen. There are few things in life I’ve cried more over than the final scene of Glee.

You are not the only one late to the scene. I'm 14 and finished glee a few months ago and I am obsessed. The worst part however was going attached to Santana and falling in love with the character only to find out that Naya passed away in 2020 and yes, I cried 😂. I am out and proud as a lesbian but I still felt like Santana helped me in a way so to find out that the actress who played her died while you are half way through season 3 was heartbreaking 😂
