Okay I’m still obsessed with this. Not only is Kelly singing in every language, she is also switching from harmony to lead. It’s absolutely incredible she did this in one take but the other artists are also all amazing. All the separate versions sound awesome. I personally like the Hebrew one the most vocally and the German one translates stunningly.

Female vocalists traditionally evolve their voices in their 30s or so. This is true of women in general though. Men tend to reach their vocal peaks in their twenties.

I think that Kelly Clarkson is in the top 4 greatest female vocalists of all time with Janis Joplin, Jennifer Holliday and Etta James. She has the soul and the emotion. Her lower notes are confident and her higher notes are missiles. But it never sounds forced or overdone. Most importantly, her voice is so versatile. She sings rock, pop, pop-rock, soul, r&b, dance, country, jazz and opera. And now she sings flawlessly in 5 more languages too. And she makes it look so effortless. AND she does it with the most likable personality I've seen of any celebrity.

Kelly is amazing! The song is in German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hebrew, and English. She learned all the languages because this song is in all of these languages. There are six different I Dare You singles. Kelly's the best! Thank you for reacting to this song!

Kelly Clarkson is undoubtedly the most versatile vocalist in the world. Add in her tone, timbre, range, and phrasing ability and she IS the best vocalist in the world. And there really is no one even able to compete with her. Every day on her talk show she sings a cover song and almost 100% of the time her version tops the original. Who else could do that? Who else does that! No one. Kelly Clarkson is the reigning Queen of World Vocals in this era of music.

OMG! That interlude after the second chorus!!! Chills. Seriously. Of the versions I've heard, my favorite at that part is Kelly and Faouzia, but that, with all of them singing together, was gorgeous. There's something breathtakingly beautiful, magical even, about it. I love hearing people sing together, breaking barriers that language might otherwise keep in place. Music is such a gift.

Jelly brought these guys to us. Never knew them , have now checked them out and my God! Super good vocalists all of them. This song just takes you to that sweet place every time you listen to it. Rest assured, as simple as the miking and presentation is, this IS being mixed together, and artificially harmonized, by a really good editor on a really good mixing board. Nothing wrong with that, especially under these circumstances. We just need to recognize it and move on.
