Lyrically, this song is my favourite, it has helped me so much to deal Anyone else who experienced trauma in your life like parental physical and emotional abuse/neglect cried to this song too? Recommended this to a friend and he listens to this all the time now. This song is special I hope Olivia knows how much she has helped us.

i’m a few months late, but yeah, as someone who’s experienced parental abuse, this song is the one i relate to the most on the album. it hits so close to home for me and is just a lyrically beautiful song.

She’s such a special artist - the way that both her lyrics and the way she uses her voice to convey emotions is incredible. Her storytelling is so good you feel like you can relate even if it’s about a really specific experience

This to me felt like she wanted to make a Drivers License part 2. The music is very similar to Drivers License in a few parts, even the way she sings some lyrics is very similar. I mean, Drivers License was the song that brought so much attention to her, it only makes sense she would go back to it.

Especially that “I try to be tough , but I wanna scream” with “I just can’t imagine how you could be so okay…” But it is in the same key (Bb major) and I guess that was her inspiration. Also the dun dun dun in the beginning also sounded like the beginning in drivers license

tristannnnn when are you gonna react to Sabrina carpenter’s new song and album!!
